Makayla: How would you like to go see a eye doctor?

Katie: Makayla there ain't no hope for me to be able see.

Makayla: I thought so

Katie: but if you want me to go. I'll go

Makayla: OK. I'll go let Mama B know.

Katie: Mama B brought it up?

Makayla: Yes

Katie: Hopefully there's hope for me.

Makayla: There's always hope.

Katie: hope and faith

Makayla: What?

Katie: nothing

(The necklace Makayla gives Katie)

Makayla puts it on around Katie's neck. Katie feels it with her finger tips.

Katie: where'd you get?

Makayla: It was mom's

Katie tries to take it off.

Makayla: Leave it on.

Katie: no! That was the only necklace mom had! I know that she wanted you to have it!

Makayla: I already have something from mom that you will never have.

Katie: What would that be?

Makayla: The memories. What she looked like.

Katie: True. Please the necklace back Makayla, please.

Makayla: No blue eyes.

Katie: please.

Makayla: No.

Katie: I'll give it to you right after the wedding.

Makayla: No you keep it.

Katie: What if I lose it or accidentally break it?

Makayla: you won't.

Katie: sure I won't.

Larry: Ah girls its raining.

Makayla: are you serious?!

Larry: afraid so. Lau is sorta mad about it.

Katie: How hard is it raining?

Larry: almost near to pouring.

Makayla: God please just let the rain stop until after the wedding.

Katie: Makayla no. There's a reason its raining.

Makayla: really would that reason be?

Katie: To keep someone from ruining it.

Makayla: who would that be?

Katie: Uncle Tony.

Makayla: He wasn't invited.

Katie: That don't mean he won't show up anyways.

Makayla: He better not.

Katie: He might.

Makayla: I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to die.

Katie: He might.

Makayla: Nah

Larry: Its stopped raining!

Makayla: We'll be out in a few minutes!

Larry: OK!

Makayla: Let's get these shoes on you.

Katie: Do you really think its a good idea for me to wear heels?

Makayla: Yeah.

Katie: OK. I just don't want to fall halfway down the isle.

Makayla: You won't fall.

Katie: OK

Makayla: Come on blue eyes.

Katie: I'm coming.

They walk down the isle side by side with Katie smiling and Makayla near to crying.

Katie: Don't cry.

Makayla: I'm just happy.

Katie: Me too.

Makayla hands Katie to Laurent and goes to stand in the bridesmaid spot.

Preacher: We are gathered here on this blessed day to unite Katie Knight and Laurent Bourgeois in holy matrimony. Who gives this woman to be married to this man?

Makayla: I do

Preacher: Do you Katie Knight take this man Laurent Bourgeois to be your lawfully wedded husband even through sickness and health till death do you part?

Katie: I do

Preacher: Do you Laurent Bourgeois take this woman Katie Knight to be your lawfully wedded wife even through sickness and health till death do you part?

Lau: I do

Preacher: I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.

Laurent and Katie kiss. Makayla is trying not to cry.

Katie: Sis?

Makayla: Yes?

Katie: I'm really happy.

Makayla: I am too

Larry: We all are.

Lilo: Aunt Katie you made a pretty bride, even though you are blind.

Katie: thank you Lilo.

Larry: Now its time to go on the honeymoons.

Makayla: I don't know.

Katie: Go on yours Makayla. I'll be alright, I got Lau to protect me.

Makayla: Oh alright.

Katie starts to cry.

Makayla: Are you OK?

Katie: I'm just so happy!
