Harry's POV

"What was happening up there?" Zayn was glaring, hard.

"I kissed Louis.."

"Why?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're straight, right?"

"Well, yeah.."

"Then why'd you kiss him? Are you just toying with him?"

"N-no, I wouldn't do that to him."

"Harry, I can tell he's fragile, and Liam told me stuff, just don't hurt him."

"I wouldn't d-"

"Save it. You may not do it on purpose, but look at your track record! This won't end well."

"Screw you." I would never hurt Louis, I couldn't.

"Harry, just don't do anything stupid."

"Shove it!" I stormed away quickly, heading for the stairs, slapping hard into someone. I looked up and it was Liam.

"Sorry, man." I nodded back at him and brushed past, storming up the steps. "What was all the yelling about?" I heard him ask Zayn, but I kept going. I got back to my room and Louis was in the same spot, staring at the wall across from him.

"Why'd you do that?" Louis didn't even look at me, he must've heard me walk in.

"What?"

"Why did you kiss me?"

"Uh, I just, I wanted to."

"Why?"

"Because you're you and it felt like the thing to do."

"Oh."

"Why'd you kiss me back?"

"Same reason you kissed me, I think."

"Can I tell you something?"

"I guess?" He shrugged and I sat down beside him.

"I have feelings for you. And I'm straight, so this is new to me."

"Shit." Louis got up. "I have to go."

"What? Why?" Louis was heading for the door, but I got up and blocked his path.

"Harry, I have feelings for you, I do, but I don't think we should do this."

"Do what? We kissed one time?"

"And that'll probably lead to another one, and I'm not good for you."

"I'd say it's the other way around. You're perfect for me, and I genuinely think that."

"But you're straight.."

"You can be straight and fall for anyone, gender doesn't matter."

"I guess you're right." He smirked suddenly and the joyful glow was instantly back to his eyes. "Are you asking me out, Curly?"

"Uh, yeah, I am." His mouth dropped open.

"I wasn't expecting you to say yeah."

"Are you saying no?"

"No." I frowned. "I mean, no, I'm not saying no. I'm saying yes!"

"Good." I leaned down and slowly kissed his forehead.

"You're too cheeky."

"So I've been told."

"Should we tell the boys?"
