Steph'sP.O.V
I was lucky enough to get out of roberts class the next day. Though i was crying and i couldn't stop thinking about him, i had to look my best. We had a school talent show and I was performing a song that i wrote. I performed before infront of people but everytime before i perform i get super nervous. I was pacing back and fourth backstage during another performance.
"hey steph, just came to wish you good luck." a voice said from behind me. "thanks" i said turning to see robert. He smiled at me and just as he was about to say more my name was called to go perform. I gave him a small smile before turning and walking out on the stage.
I strummed my guitar and began to play and sing. The song i was singing was a song i wrote about robert after he had left, so i had to try not to cry.
'and i never thought you'd walk out of my life. i sang and strummed the last chord of the song. There was a short pause before everyone started clapping. I smiled but got off stage as soon as i could so i wouldn't cry.
I went down and stood off on the side of the gym to watch the other performances.
"so everyone this year we have something new, we have a staff member here to perform. now he is new here so please welcome Mr.Downey to the stage." my eyes widened as the principal introduced robert. He walked over to the piano and sat down. "okay guys so i wrote this song myself a couple years ago and ya, so here it goes." he said before starting to play. I melted inside as he sang his song. At one point during the song our eyes met and he smiled at me and i couldn't help but smile back. When he finished his song everyone was on their feet clapping. Even i seemed to be clapping. You could see a few people who had tears in their eyes and i was one of them.
I walked back stage where it was completely empty until rob walked in. I immediately wrapped my arms around him and hugged him. When i pulled away he was just smiling at me. I looked at him confused and asked "what?" he continued to smile a moment before asking "does this mean we're back together?" "promise you won't leave again?" i asked with a serious face. "promise" he replied holding out his pinkie. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my finger around his. "then yes it does" i said smiling. His eyes lit up and he kissed my lips softly.
"yay" a voice said from beside us. Rob and i both turned looking worried until we saw Bobby and Dylan standing in the doorway. I smiled at them both and kissed robs cheek. "scared you guys haha, i was just coming to tell both of you how good you guys were" Dylan said laughing. "thank you" Rob and i said at the same time causing us all to laugh. We all left ack stage when the next performer came in and headed back into the gym.
Rob had to go stand by all the teachers so i was sad but i will definitely be seeing him later.

just a short chapter but yaya their back together. music can have such a big affect on people.
I'll try and make the next chapter longer to make up for this short one!
