Steph's P.O.V
"Comgratulations you guys you have officially created an EP, I have some last minute editing to do with it and then I will hand it over to you, now I did the editing but its up to you guys to get it out there, you guys did amazing so i'm sure someone will help you." Mitch said high fiving the both of us. I smiled at Rob excitedly and he smiled back and winked.
As soon as Mitch finished up with everything he gave us the disc and we started asking around.
"No" "No" "No" "No"we had gotten tons of no's but most of them said the same thing. "Get it on the radio," So we listened. Rob and i heade to nearby stations and we got 1 no but the next couple decided to play it on their station. Apparently someone else heard the song and gave us a call. They live closer to us, so we had to get a plane ticket back to Ontario.
"Mr. Vandenburn will see you now" The assistant told us. We smiled and followed her to the room and walked through big doors into an office. Mr.Vandenburn was a man mabye a little taller than me so around 5'5 with short brown hair, His eyes looked to be a greenish colour. His hair was combed back but not with a ton of gel in it like people with comb overs. He had on a pair of jeans and a black v-neck under a dark grey suit jacket.
"Hey guys good to see you." Mr. Vandenburn said as we walked in. "Hey" we both said. "So I think you guys are...amazing!" He said with a big smile on his face. We both smiled widely. "Now I've only heard one song so did you bring the rest, I'd like to listen to them before I make my decision. "We sure did" I said pulling my bag off my back and getting the disc. "Okay come on over here and we'll listen to some of it together."
We all sat and listened to the EP. I felt like he was continuously looking at us but I just ignored it and listened. When I heard my part in one of the songs I was actually surprised.
"That, that right there is what I've been looking for, you surprised yourself didn't you?" He asked looking at me I looked at him confused and said "Well ya." "That's how I know you are good, when I see someone surprise themselves I know they can do amazing things and they don't even know it." He added. We looked at him confused. "I will definitely help you guys get this out there is what I'm saying" he said with a chuckle at our confusion. We both made an 'o' face and laughed.
"Well alright that's great you know we really appreciate it" Rob said. "Hey it's no problem, oh and don't worry you were surprised to I just had to wait longer for her." He said with a smile. "You can breathe now, you can do amazing things to" He added jokingly. Rob breathed out in a jokingly loud manner and we all laughed.
"Okay so I'll see what I can do with this and i'll update you guys in a couple weeks or as soon as I can." Mr. Vandenburn said and walked us out of his office.
"Wooo" Rob and I yelled as soon as we walked outside. Rob pulled me into a hug and kissed me deeply. "Everything is going according to plan" Rob said putting his fingers together like a mastermind. I laughed and joined him. "Yeees yes it is, muahahahaha" I said evilly. Rob looked at me worried and said "Don't hurt me."
I laughed and said "Oh you know you like it rough" and winked at him. The look of surprise on his face made me burst into laughter. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. "And how would you know what I like missy" He asked. "Oh I can read minds now didn't you know?" I said jokingly. "Oh ya what am I thinking right now?" He asked. I looked at him for a moment and smiled and said "That you want it rough" then burst into laughter. I could see him shake his head and roll his eyes, but I could see his little smile.
Rob let me down and said "Let's go." "where are we going?" I asked confused. He looked back with a smirk and said "My bedroom." My eyes nearly popped out of my head at that moment. "Well damn I'm good" I said with a grin. He shook his head again and said "We'll see about that" as he opened the car door for me. I giggled as he went around to his side.
Before he started the car he leaned over and kissed me deeply once again. "Sorry I had to at least do that or this drive will feel to long" He said and started the car. e shouldn't have said that. "I'm gonna mess with him all the way there" I thought to myself and smiled evily before hidding it with innocence.
