"How can you ask me of this?" Misha grumbled, his elbows resting on his knees and body bend forward as he sat on a chair across the desk.

Oliver smirked. "I'm not really asking, Misha. It's something you'll have to do because you simply have no choice."

Right after getting back to Boston, the first thing Oliver did was operating a research of all the elements that Misha. At the moment, his future brother-in-law seemed to be his only hope in sight. Oliver would be damned if he didn't grab this hope properly.

But what was the actual definition of proper?

That Oliver got to know as he idly sat inside Brandan's huge study the very first night after he came back. The jet lag made his legs ache and he couldn't sleep thinking about Elli and stressing about how to make a developement in his nerve-wrecking romance with her. The solution was given to him very surprisingly, Oliver had reasons to believe that the higher powers had finally decided to show him some mercy. It fell on him as Emma's romance books when he was stomping by the big shelves and accidentally bumped his shoulder on an edge.

In a second, books rained upon him. Begrudgingly when he was putting them up in their places he realized he had in his hand one of the chick flick books Emma suggested, he guessed sarcastically, that he read.

Oliver had scoffed staring at the book and he chuckled reading the title.

Love And Blackmail

What the f***!

He was about to throw the book away with the ridiculous title, fearing there would be rainbows and unicorns inside it. But then something clicked inside his mind, something - that looked almost like a sliver of one hell of a brilliant idea. A light bulb flickered in his mind, and Oliver sat down on a couch in the quiet study, flipping the book in his hand. The next three hours made a history. Finally, his mind became a master-mind from where he formed the ultimate plan.

A plan that required Oliver to be an unforgiving, heartless, arrogant man who can and will do anything to get his lady love. Anything. Even a little blackmail too.

Now Oliver was in the same study where history was made, and he chose this revolutionary place to get his plan into action. A plan that included Misha, so horribly - entirely.

"I don't understand," Misha dragged his hands up and down his stressed up face. "Why do you want to be a pay-in-guest in our home back in the town? If you need to stay there in the town for some business related issue... or something, you can rent one of those guest houses. There's even a hotel that you stay in, so why don't you?"

Because knowing where Elli lives isn't just enough, especially when I can bulldoze my way inside her home and woo the s*** out of her. But Oliver couldn't say that, could he? There was risk that honesty here could really cost his whole plan.

So, Oliver in stead winked at Misha and replied, "I've my reasons, Mishu boy. Don't worry, you'll soon get to know all about it, just be patient for a while."

Misha froze and his heart, liver, kidneys, lungs everything... everything froze alongside too.

He knew it! He just knew it!

While living in Emma's house, Oliver hovering all around him most of the time, he already had his doubts. Doubts that made him get his a** out of the house and take shelter into a hotel. Doubts that were getting confirmed now.

This guy... this evil guy with screws in his head fit upside down - was interested in him!

"I won't," Misha said strongly.

"Look," Oliver huffed. "You'll get money, I'm paying you for having me as a guest."

"An unwanted guest."

Oliver cut in firmly, "...And your book will also not get rejected from the publishing house, you got the proof that the publisher is my buddy. Your trip here and your writing, everything will be ruined. Do you want that?"

"You're a crazy bast***!" Misha straightened, glowering.

Oliver shrugged, looking a little apologetic. "To gain something precious one must change a little."

Misha muttered something incoherent under his breath, looking extremely red from anger and embarrassment.

Shrugging again, Oliver waved the contract paper before Misha's face.

Utterly cornered, Misha signed the papers in a daze, his mind already storming up ideas of how to tackle... or avoid this problem called Oliver for the next three months. The devil was going to haunt his house damn it!

Misha saw the happy grin on Oliver's face, his dreamy eyes and the way he clutched his heart thinking he wasn't looking anymore. Wordlessly, he walked out of the study, but stopped dead right outside the door.

One last try.

He peeked back inside the study. "And Oliver," Oliver looked up in question and Misha said. "I'm straight."

Oliver raised a brow in confusion. "Uh... congratulations?"

Misha quickly left after that. The motherfu**er! It still didn't matter to that monster. What an absolute psychopath! He cursed himself for not taking a return flight right away the moment Oliver bragged about that penis stabber crutch of his. He had even overheard Oliver discreetly talking to that crutch and then he wrapped up that crutch into a gift wrapper and put it away in a suitcase. Misha could only guess what his psychotic mind scemed that day.

What if Oliver was thinking of using that crutch on him?! In what hellish way?

The thought and the mental image had Misha absolutely terrified. He would surely need his father's shotgun then.
