Hey, everyone! I have some announcements today. So, first off, if you are still reading this book, bless your soul. Literally, some people just read a few chapters, voting and commenting, then all of a sudden, they stop! Please be a good noodle and stick with me through this fan fiction! This is my first fan fiction that's actually doing well and I want it to stay that way. Again, thank you to those who are still here and being good noodles and actually reading and sticking with me even though I have a lack of updates now. That actually brings us to our next topic: updates. I'm thinking of deleting the schedule since school is starting and I won't have time to update. Plus, my phone is broken and that means my Wattpad on my phone is unreachable. I'm typing on my laptop right now and it'll stay that way for a while. Lastly, I got a new wallet! It depicts all of the evolutions of Eevee, which is a fictional creature from Pokemon. I know that it's not really important to you guys but it's a huge deal to me. Anyways, I don't want to keep you waiting. Enjoy this chapter and the music I've paired with it. Goodbye and I appreciate your existence! ~S.R :3

"Alright, last time and you have to do it right," you say to Eli. You two are on the couch, deciding on which anime you guys should watch on Netflix.

"Why do you automatically assume that your way is right? What if you're doing it wrong? Did you ever think about that?" he retaliates.

You shake your head. "C'mon. Let's just get it over with." you make your hand into a fist and place it on top of your other hand. He does the same.

"Rock! Paper! Scissors! Shoot!" Eli releases his hand on "scissors" and makes it into a paper.

"Dude!" you yell. "It's on shoot, not scissors!"

He groans. "Okay, fine. Again."

We do it again. You form your hands into rock while he forms it into scissors.

"Yes!" you shout excitedly.

"Best two out of three," he bargains.

"No. We agreed on one time and I won, so Pokémon it is!" you say as you grab the remote.

"Fine," he mutters. "But, next time, we're watching Naruto."

You ignore him as you flick through the different animes, eventually finding Pokémon and clicking on it. While it buffers, Max walks in, holding his phone up to his ear and holding a sticky note. A voice calmly says something on the other side as the redhead frantically looks around for a specific object. He spots a pen on the coffee table by your feet and signals you to toss it to him. You throw it to him lightly and he catches it without a problem. He runs to the wall and starts to write an address down and other things.

"Okay, I wrote it down," he says to the person on the other side. They say something back. "Alright, thank you so much. Yes. Okay, bye!"

He places his phone down and fistbumps the air. "Woohoo! Yes!"

You look at Eli, confused. He shrugs back before picking up his phone and begins to scroll through Twitter. You look back at Max.

"Who was that, Maxy?" you question, suspicious.

He pushes up his glasses, smiling. It was obviously something good. "Dude, so Tim and I have been eyeing this house that had everything we needed, like more than three bedrooms and some extra space for our offices. So, Tim informed me yesterday that he managed to get the guy who's selling it to lower the price! He placed an offer and now we're moving, baby!"

"Max, that's great! So, do Eli and I finally get our guest bedroom?" you ask.

He nods. You jolt up and sprint towards him for a hug. You wrap your arms around him, happily. He hugs back. You hear Eli say, "I ship it!" but you ignore him.

All of a sudden, you hear the front door slam open. To your surprise, a girl wearing a Gravity Falls hat, black jeans, and a striped shirt with a cardigan is standing in the doorway, her suitcase next to her and her purse dangling from her shoulder. Her hair was like a dark brown waterfall that went up to her hips. She looks upset to see us hugging.

You peel your arms off of Max and take two large steps away from him. "Maxy, who's this?" you quiz, confused.

"Max, who is this?" the girl asks back.

"I'm (Y/N), Max's best friend from elementary," you hesitantly answer. "Who are you again?"

She looks frightened and confused.

"I'm Krista," she introduces. "Max's girlfriend."

Your jaw drops. You look at Eli for a reaction. His jaw is dropped as well. Holy shit.

Eli excuses himself by running into Tim's room. "Good luck with that mess," he whispers as he passes you.

You ignore him once again.

You walk up to her and stop beside her. The two of you observe each other for a moment before both turning back at Max, who had guilt written all over his face. The both of you raise an eyebrow.

"Explain," you and Krista say at the exact same time.
