You enter Homer Hall and pausing at the entrance, looking left and right for Mr. Way.

"Excuse me," someone politely says behind you.

You turn around and see a boy with a laptop tucked in his right arm and a cool beanie on his hazelnut-haired head. He gleams a small smile, waiting for you to move.

"Oh, I'm sorry," you say as you move to the left.

"It's alright," he says as he moves forward.

You move more toward the couch area, whilst still looking for Mr. Way.

After a few seconds, you see Mr. Way come out of the Men's bathroom and was immediately greeted by the hazelnut-haired boy.

Your eyes light up when you see the professor and sprint towards him.

Mr. Way and the boy were in pleasant conversation while you interrupt.

"We just have to wait for (Y/N)," Mr. Way explains to the young boy.

The boy nods his head in agreement.

You halt in front of them and nod as if you heard the whole conversation.

"I'm here!" you yell while doing jazz hands.

"Excellent!" Mr. Way claps his hands together. Then, he pushes the young boy towards you. "You two introduce yourselves."

You two stand in awkward silence before the boy ruffles his hair a bit and takes a deep breath.

"I'm Elijah, but you can call me Eli, I guess," he mumbles as he stares at the floor.

"Fantastic!" Mr. Way yells as he slams his hand on Eli's shoulder, playfully.

"Um," you look around the room in your prereferral vision, trying to avoid eye contact with the boy. "I'm (Y/N)."

Mr. Way puts his fist in the air and sticks his index finger up. He, then, points it to a nearby hallway.

"This way, kids!" He screams in his eccentric voice.

The two of you steal a quick glance at each other before running after Mr. Way, who was already halfway down the corridor.

Once you reach his classroom, Mr. Way was waiting impatiently at the door, holding it open while tapping his foot.

"Come on, people, while we're young!" He rubs his gray hair while chuckling.

You groan as you walk in, Eli following close behind you.

Afterwards, Mr. Way says goodbye to a few teachers in the corridor who were leaving to go home as you sit at the desk net the front. Eli sits next to you and looks at his hands, who he has nearly placed in front of him.

"Goodbye, Sheri!" He vocalizes in his usual energetic voice as he waves to a female teacher, who was struggling to carry all her leather bags.

He shuts the door behind him and jogs to the front of the room where he erases the whiteboard from the previous class while humming a song.

"Hum hum-hum hummmm," he hums a happy and beautiful tune that almost wants you to join him, but you force yourself to stay professional since you are in front of the top professor.

After erasing the board, he goes to the bottom left drawer and pulls out a sushi from the supermarket. You wince at the sight of the wannabe sushi.
