You and Eli slowly roll your suitcases down the airport parking lot, Mr. Way closely trailing behind you, carrying the plane tickets.

"Can we please have some help, Mr. Way?" Eli pleads as he lugs his suitcase, carries his heavy backpack, and clings onto laptop under his right arm. His striped beanie slowly slipping off his head.

Mr. Way adjusts his beanie. "You'll be fine."

You chuckle as you easily pull your polka dot covered suitcase and carry your full backpack. Your stuffed Squirtle from Pokemon is tucked under your left arm, slowly slipping. You manage to keep it from falling from your grasp and return it to its usual spot.

You arrive at the entrance of the airport and spin around in the rotary doors, your suitcase almost getting stuck in it.

As you enter, hordes of people in business suits and families in matching vacation outfits are scrambling near the luggage checks and escalators. Some metal benches await near the rotary doors. A man in a sleek business suit was talking on the phone while resting his feet on his standing suitcase. A little girl and her mom sit next to him. The little girl wore a cute pink dress with daisies scattered on the surface and her mom had a sloppily-made bun sitting on top of her head and was wearing blue jeans with a light yellow sweater. They were both resting their heads on each other, attempting to have some relaxation time in his bustling airport.

You look at the benches, wanting to sit on them. Eli notices where you're looking and sighs, relieved.

"Thank the stars," he says as he tries his best to sprint to the benches.

Mr. Way shakes his head and leans closer to you, making sure Eli is far enough. "Who says that anymore?" he mutters in your ear.

The two of you catch up with Eli, who you find already making himself comfortable. He sat, out of breath, on the metal bench. His laptop nestled on his lap, opened, the recognizable Apple logo on the front is covered by a Legend of Zelda sticker, which makes the shield that Link is holding give off a bioluminescent glow. His face is covered by his beanie. His muffled groans of frustration made the little girl and her mom shift a seat down.

You sit next to him, playfully patting him on the back.

"Hang in there, Eli," you exclaim while handing him your Squirtle. "Here, this helps reduce stress."

"Thanks," he replies, sarcastically. "It'll help a lot."

He grabs it out of your hands and stuffs his face into it while screaming into it.

The mom and her daughter move down another seat. The business man growls and stands up and leaves, continuing to chatter on the phone.

Mr. Way plops down next to Eli and chuckles as he distributes the tickets to the both of you.

"Okay, guys," Mr. Way starts. "Serious talk. I want you to be really careful there, alright? There's going to be no adult with you, so, I expect you to be on your best behavior. Also..."

You start to tune out. Eli hands you back your Squirtle and puts his beanie back on his face.

You glare at Eli for a good minute as Mr. Way gives a rather boring lecture about responsibility and safety and blah blah blah...

"Alright," Mr. Way finishes. "That's all I have to say. Any questions?"

You completely ignore him and tilt your head, pretending to be confused.
