I was sitting outside playing with Sunny eating my breakfast when I heard Florida arrive blaze stuck his head out of the window “hey hope you ready?” he called

“one minute” I said hopping over the railings “bye nanny dru, bye nanny kiri and faith” I called over my shoulder as I started walking towards blaze

“wait! Hope where do you think you are going?” faith called coming on to the deck and picking up sunny

“out with friends like I said last night”

“I thought you meant April, but no its that boy isn’t it?”

“yes he is my friend”

“so you wont mind me coming and talking to him then?”

“nope come talk to him” I said walking quickly hoping to reach him to say sorry for my sisters nosy nature. “im so sorry about this Blaze” I said as I reached the car

“about what? Whos that?” blaze’s friend asked

“my sister” I said as Faith reached Florida, still holding sunny she handed Sunny to me

“hello you must be Blaze? Im Faith, hopes sister just making sure you weren’t some random guy she had found on the streets” Blaze and I exchanged eye contact and I had to cover up and laugh “okay Hope of you go” she said taking Sunny off me and smiling far to sweetly at me which meant I was in for it later.

“what was that about?” asked blaze as he go out to help me into Florida

“she wanted to know who you were and she wants to meet you wanna come over for tea tomorrow?”

“wait Blaze who is this chick?” asked blazes friend

“this is Hope” said blaze with a smile “and hope this is Lee”

“ohh so this is the girl you wont stop talking about” said lee

“shut up!” said blaze giving him a shove

“so where are we going?” I asked as I put my hand on blazes

“we were thinking of going to the park?” said lee

“okay that sounds good” I said smiling

 “are you sure? I mean if you want to we could go somewhere more like exciting?” said blaze

“shh the park is just fine with me” I said

“dude are you like trying to empress her?” said lee

“no just don’t want her to get bored” replied Blaze

“no-one is bored with me around” said lee pumping his fist into the air like Judd nelson in the breakfast club, and I couldn’t help but laugh “see im already making your bird laugh”

“good thing you’re gay then isn’t it lee?” laughed blaze

“IM NOT GAY” lee shouted as blaze set off

“but with no girlfriend? In the 10 years ive know you, never a girlfriend” blaze said

“but never a boyfriend!” lee said looking shocked “im just not as strangely desired by women like you, I really don’t understand it myself, your always the boyfriend whereas im stuck in the friend zone”

“you will find someone my man, one day in a galaxy far far away some girl is just waiting for you” blaze said glancing over at us. He stopped the car and I found we were facing a small park where a few girls from my year were standing, I noticed my old best friend Beth standing with the meanest girl in our year Faye, but I didn’t say anything to Blaze or lee about it.
