Cas

A moment after Dean stepped outside the room, the door opened again. I turned, expecting to see Dean, but Jo was standing there instead.

She had changed into her pajamas which consisted of a tank top and a pair of revealing booty shorts which showed off her legs.

"Oh, hey Cas." She smiled flirtatiously.

"You're going to freeze wearing that," I told her, picking up the blanket at the end of the bed.

Walking to where she stood, I wrapped the blanket around her and she held it in place. I noticed the pleased expression on her face when my arms reached around her shoulders.

"Thanks." She had a slight blush on her cheeks.

"No problem." I shrugged. "But, um... I kind of need to change."

"Go ahead," she told me, not moving from her spot. "I don't mind."

Dean walked in at that moment, carrying the deflated air mattress and a motorised air blower thing. He saw Jo standing there and almost started laughing, but pressed his lips together to stop himself.

"Jo, are you harassing Cas?" He asked, setting down the things in his hands.

"No, I was just looking for something," she replied innocently.

"Alright, well go downstairs then." Dean shooed her out, then turned back towards me. "Sorry about that. You can change in the bathroom if you want."

"Will you promise not to look if I change over there?" I pointed to the corner and he nodded.

While I removed my clothes and slipped into pajamas, Dean started to inflate the air mattress on the floor. To be honest, I would've preferred to have him sleep in the bed with me, but I could control my feelings for the next five days.

"I'm gonna go brush my teeth," I informed him when I was clothed again.

I went out into the hallway and saw Jo still standing there, wrapped in the blanket while staring at the door. She looked down at the floor, embarrassed.

"Sorry," she mumbled quietly.

"What for?" I stepped into the bathroom which was just a couple of feet away.

"Dean was right, I was kind of harassing you," she admitted, looking back up as I started to brush my teeth. "I don't know what came over me, I shouldn't have just barged in and stayed there, you looked uncomfortable, and-"

"It's fine," I cut her off after spitting out the toothpaste that was in my mouth.

Jo nodded and stood with me while I finished brushing my teeth.

"Would you like me to walk you downstairs?" I asked politely when I was done.

"You're a lot nicer than Dean," she accepted the offer.

"I'm sure my siblings would beg to differ."

"How many siblings do you have?"

"Three older brothers," I told her as we reached the staircase. "They used to be jerks to me but they matured eventually. Still, I got sick of it after about the first year of my life."

"Having three brothers can be tiring," she agreed.

"I'm glad I have someone who relates," I sighed, making her smile to herself.

We reached the living room downstairs and she sat down on the couch where there were already two large blankets spread out and a pillow at one end.

"I don't get it," Jo started, looking up at me.

"Don't get what?"

"Why'd you change in the room when Dean was there? Are you two gay for each other or something?"

"No." I hid a frown and shook my head. "No, I guess I'm just used to it. I've had to do it for an entire semester anyway."

"I guess that makes sense." She nodded, then gave me a suggestive smirk. "So you're single?"

"Goodnight, Jo." I smiled and rolled my eyes.

As she laid down, I turned off the light and returned to her side. I bent down and placed a short, friendly kiss on her forehead. When I backed away, I could almost read the emotions in her eyes.

"Goodnight, Cas," she breathed with a grin.

I decided not to say anything more about it. Besides, what bad could a small crush do?

Dean was carrying blankets from the linen closet in the middle of the hallway when I got back upstairs.

"Did you tell her yet?" He asked as I took half of the pile from his arms.

"No." I shook my head.

"You're evil, Castiel." He smiled, dropping his blankets on the floor.

"I would've felt more evil if I told her," I sighed, pulling back the covers on the bed and sitting down. "I don't want to shatter her dream."

"She can take it, trust me." Dean closed the door and turned off the lights, making his way to the air mattress in the dark.

"Wait." I reached over and turned them back on. "We reached level four."

"You're right." He stood up and I patted the bed next to me, holding up the covers so he could join.

"So... Who goes first?"

"Rock, Paper, Scissors?"

I won as per usual, meaning Dean had to go first.

"This happens every time with Sammy too," he complained. "Alright, get comfy."
