Dean

I told him everything, from my mom's death to my father's obsession with working and how Bobby had filed a restraining order against him for me and Sam. I told him that this was my dad's room and I refused to move into it from my shared room with Sam and it was unoccupied until Ellen and Jo moved in.

I may have possibly shed a tear or two while telling him my tragic backstory.

"Dean, I... I had no idea." Cas rubbed my arm comfortingly. "You didn't deserve to go through any of that."

"Yeah, well." I shrugged, leaning into his touch. "It made me stronger. I miss my mom, though. Ellen is a good mom, but I grew up during the most important part of my childhood without someone like her around. It just... I'm sorry, I'm being weak."

"Shhh." He stopped me. "It's okay, Dean. You're allowed to feel that way."

I tried to stop myself from feeling bad, but it only brought tears to my eyes. Cas wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer, resting his head against mine.

this isn't working out, i probably shouldn't have started this at the beginning of the school year
