Cas

After breakfast, we gathered all our warm clothes downstairs in the dining room, not putting them on yet, seeing as it was too warm inside to wear everything for long.

"I texted everyone and we decided on meeting down at the drift," Sam informed his siblings. "They'll be there in fifteen minutes or so."

"We should head out soon, then," Jo concluded.

Everybody piled on layers of clothes and we filed out the front door. I walked next to Dean as we trudged through the snow to wherever "The Drift" was, which everyone else here seemed to know.

We eventually made it to a forest-looking area behind a neighbourhood, with trees that gradually became denser as the forest stretched back. However, we stayed where the trees were more sparse and vast mounds of fresh, clean snow dusted the terrain.

"This is the drift," Dean told me, holding his arm out to gesture towards the snow. "We used to come here all the time to play with the other kids who now make up our 'gang' of friends."

"It's really pretty," I commented, looking around. "I'd like to take pictures here."

"Maybe we can come back before you have to leave."

"Would you let me take photos of you?"

"We'll see."

Suddenly there was shouting behind us and a snowball whizzed past Dean.

"Run!" Sam shouted.

Dean grabbed my arm and pulled me towards one of the larger hills of snow. We ducked down behind it and started making snowballs to throw. I peeked over the top of the hill and aimed at our attacker, somehow managing to hit them on my third try.

"Ah!" She cried, dramatically falling to her knees. "I've been hit!"

Another three people appeared from behind the houses and walked over to her as the rest of us emerged from our hiding places behind the snow.

"Charlie!" Jo ran up and pulled the fallen figure to her feet, wrapping her arms around her.

"Heya," Charlie laughed, hugging Jo back.

"It's been too long." Sam smiled, holding his hand up for a high-five after they had stopped hugging.

"I miss you guys." Charlie ignored his hand and pulled him into a hug, doing the same for Dean and Ash next. "The only thing about college that sucks is not seeing all of you bitches."

"We have a new recruit." Dean beamed at her excitedly.

"Right, Sam told me." She turned to face me. "You must be Castiel."

"You can call me Cas." I nodded.

"It's nice to meet you." She gave me a contagious friendly smile which I couldn't help but return.

"That's Kevin, Garth, and Meg," Dean told me, pointing towards the three other people who had joined us.

"Hey." Meg sent me a bit of a smirk.

"Guys, this is my friend Cas."

They all greeted me in their own ways. Eventually the last person, a boy named Crowley, came down to our gathering.

After introducing himself to me, he chucked a snowball at Dean and started a war.

Dean shouted at him and picked up a chunk of snow to stuff down the back of Crowley's shirt. Jo threw a snowball at Charlie, who chased after the younger girl in response. Meg jumped onto Sam's back, smashing a handful of snow on his head, and Ash grabbed Garth's and Kevin's arms, pulling them towards the nearest snowbank for cover.
