Edd's Pov

Today was the day. Today was (Y/N)'s birthday. Today was the day I would try to move our relationship to the next level. I had always been self conscious about asking her after all these years we have been dating. It's probably because what happened at the therapist. They should really make the space bigger between the e and the r. Plus (Y/N) was still a virgin. I don't want to be guilty of taking her virginity, but I also don't want her to get bored of me. As I was browsing through my thoughts, Tom called me me from the living room.

"Edd! Your girlfriend is here."

I ran out of my room and into the living room. She was wearing a dress.

"Woah..."

I muttered under my breath. I heard her giggle slightly. I felt my face burn up.

"Heh... H-Hey (Y/N)."

I waved. She walked over to me and hugged me.

"Hey Eddie!"

She pulled away and gived me a peck on my check. But then her expression changed to disappointed.

"You didn't forget today was my birthday did you?"

She said as she realized I wasn't wearing anything special.

"No-No! I didn't! I actually had plans for today!"

"Like what?"

She asked suspiciously.

"I got us booked into a resort by the ocean. I wanted to surprise you. Just you and me."

I smiled, hoping she actually believe me. It was true.

"Oh. Sorry for doubting you Edd, and you shouldn't have!"

She said embarrassed.

"Heh... It's no problem."

I smiled awkwardly.

"Were going to stay in the resort for a few days, so you might want to bring some clothes and other stuff. I already have mine packed. Want to go to your house and get yours?"

I asked. She nodded.

"Yeah that would be great! Let's go!"

She cheered. We took the car and stopped by her house. After we were done packing, we drove off into the city. After two hours of the car ride, we finally arrived at the resort.
