My tail swung sideways as I intensely played a shooting game in the living room TV. I was a streak. Boom dead there. Boom dead there. And boom dead there.
"ONE KILL REMAINING."
The game called out. Yes! Our teams our tied so all I need is to kill this guy and-
"Must hug fluff!"
Matt hugged my tail which scares the living hell out of me. I jumped away from him and stood in a fighting stance. Then I realized it was just Matt.
"Matt wha-"
"GAME OVER. (L/F/C) TEAM WINS."
I looked over at the screen to see that they had killed me. My team had lost.
"No-no-no-no!"
I went over and pawed the screen the screen in disbelief. I never lose! I banged my head against the TV once.
"Matt how could you..?"
I gave him a quick glare before looking back at the TV screen that read: Game Over.
"Heheh... Sorry (Y/N, I couldn't resist. Besides, it's just a game."
My pupils dilated at those words in anger. Just a game? My ears fell back as I slowly turned to look at him with an evil cat grin.
"Matt. If you don't want to die in the next five seconds I suggest you start running. Now."
His eyes widened and he immediately ran off to who knows where. I let out a sigh as I went back to normal. I fell onto my back on the floor. I let out a groan of annoyance as my tail swung against the floor. Oh Matt what am I going to do with you? I sat up and walked to the kitchen and grabbed some (F/D). I took a sip of it and licked my lips right after. I saw Edd enter the kitchen as I finished up my drink.
"Hey (Y/N)."
Edd waved innocently. I crushed my drink and threw it away.
"Hey Edd, what's up?"
I waved back as I smiled.
"Eh.. nothing much. I just wanted to ask if you knew why Matt was terrified in his room?"
Edd asked in a bit of a sad tone. I let out an awkward laugh as I scratched the back off my head.
"Hahah... I umm... I might... sorta... threatened to kill him... earlier..."
I bit my lip as I looked down guilty. Edd raised an eyebrow suspiciously as he crossed his arms.
"Oh really? Why did you do that?"
"He touched my tail. You should never tug a neko human's tail. It's sensitive so it startles us..."
I scratched my cheek slightly as my eyes darted back at Edd. Edd had this smug look on his face. What's he thinking? He let out a sigh as he walked around me. Okay? Just as I was about to walk out, I felt someone tug my tail and I immediately jumped away. I couldn't land my fall this time as my foot slipped. By shear coincidence, Tom just so happened to be there to break my fall. I crashed into him as he managed to catch me. We landed on the floor. I opened my eyes, I was fine? I felt warm arms wrap around me. I wasn't even injured?

I looked over to see none other than Tom himself. Both of our ears fell back as we both became flustered. His arm was wrapped around me as he held my head in his other. He caught me?
"Uhh.. hey.."
I awkwardly spoke.
"H-Hey..."
Tom muttered back awkwardly.
"Are you okay?"
Tom asked in a worried tone as his ears perked up.
"Yeah... I'm fine heh.."
This was really awkward.
"Tom... you can let me go now..."
I muttered out as I looked at his eyeless face.
"I know."
He purred out. My tail puffed up as a blush spread across my eyes. What was that supposed to mean? Tom's ears fell back and he rubbed his head against mine. He liked me? He let out a purr before landing pecking my cheek with a soft kiss. My face went full red at that point. Was he drunk or was he really blunt? A chuckle was heard from Tom. I looked over at him with a what-are-you-doing look. He smirked then smashed his lips against mine. My tail puffed up as I immediately tensed up. My ears perked up in surprise. Was this really happening? After a few moments, I closed my eyes as I let my ears drop and kissed him back. I felt a flash of light pass by us and both of our eyes-or my eyes-flung open. We looked over to see Edd had taken a photo of us kissing.
"Whoops! I didn't know the flash was on!"
Edd talked to himself.
"EDD!"
Tom and I hissed at him in unison. Edd only let out a sneaky giggle and ran off.
"YOU GUYS ARE ADORABLE! I MUST SHOW THE WORLD!"
Edd yelled as he ran away. Tom was about to chase after him, but I grabbed his arm. He looked down at me in confusion. I stood up and dusted myself off.
"Just going to leave me here alone right after you kissed me? I don't think so mister."
I held his face and gave him a quick peck on his lips.
"But Edd-"
"Let Edd show everyone we're a thing now. Unless you don't want people to know we're dating do you?"
I made let out a fake pout and Tom sighed. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. He let out a purr as he kissed my forehead.
"You're right. Sorry."
He purred out before he took me by the hand and we walked off.
