Edd's Pov

I was walking down the dim street, lightly rubbing my neck with my palm over the bit marks I had just received. The night was starting to spread across the sky as the world around me grew darker and darker yet. I lightly licked my fangs that bared out. I was so hungry. Hungry for some sensation of warmth. Just a hug would be enough. I lightly shook from the freezing feeling that ran though my body. I finally made it back to the house as I quickly opened the door and walked in before closing it again.

The living room was dark, only to be illuminated by the light from the TV. (Y/N) was laying deep asleep on the red couch. It'd look like she had fallen asleep watching TV. She was peacefully sleeping. I didn't want to wake her but I couldn't help myself.

"...(Y/N)?"

I quietly whispered out to her. She didn't even budge.

"...(Y/N)...!"

I whispered, now a bit louder. But it was no use. She wasn't waking up any time soon. I sighed then walked over and sat in the empty seat next to her. She was slightly curled up against the arm chair but still laying down. I quietly sighed as I curled up into a ball and buried my face into my knees.

My blood ran cold as I felt myself lightly shiver. I squeezed my eyes shut as I tried avoiding thinking of biting something... more specifically someone. I felt a shift in position next to me.

"Mmm... Edd...?"

(Y/N) sleepily asked while she rubbed her eye. I stayed silent.

"Edd? Are you okay?"

She asked once more, her voice hinted worry. I felt her warm hand touch my cheek.

(Y/N)'s Pov

I reached my hand over and touched his cheek. It was freezing completely, making me flinch my hand back in surprise.

"Oh my lord you're freezing..!"

After I said that, he looked up and glanced at me. A small gasp escaped my lips as I looked at him in disbelief. His eyes glowed red against his pale skin as his fangs were slightly visible.

I knew what this was...

"W-Wait! (Y/N) calm down I-"

Edd tried to explain himself before he cut himself off and stayed silent.

"S-Sorry... I-I just..."

He took a deep breath and sighed, visibly shaking.

"I... I'm r-really cold... and s-scared..."

He admitted. I softly sighed and wrapped my arms around him, pulling his closer. He basically sunk into my warmth as his arms immediately wrapped around me and he snuggled even closer. He buried his face into my shoulder. I comfort him by getting petting the brunette's soft hair. His shivering started to faintly decline after a while.

"Edd? Do you want me to get you a coffee or some tea?"

I asked him softly.

"S-Some tea would be nice.."

He stuttered in his reply. I smiled and slowly pulled away from him. I grabbed a blanked and gently wrapped it around him so he wouldn't be freezing. Then as fast as I could, I went into the kitchen and started making him some tea.

After a few minutes, I returned and sat next to him before handing it to him.

"T-Thanks (Y/N)..."

He softly smiled and took a sip from it. I nodded and smiled at him before sighing and looking down. I waited for him to set his tea down before speaking up.

"Hey Edd?"

I glanced over at him. He turned to look at me.

"Yeah?"

He asked, his fangs were clearly visible when he spoke. I slightly frown and looked into his red glowing eyes.

"...You've been bitten huh...?"

I asked softly. His eyes widened as his hand immediately latched over and cover one side of his neck.

"W-Wha-?"

"You're a vampire aren't you?"

I interrupted him. I clearly knew the signs of a vampire. He shrunk in his stance as he looked down silently.

"....Yeah..."

He quietly sighed. I softly smiled and cupped his cheeks, making him look up at me. I inched over and pressed my forehead against his as he looked into my (E/C) eyes. An obvious blush spread across his cheeks. I lightly chuckled before gently pressing my lips against his. His lips were slightly cold, but heated up immediately from a blush. He melted into our kiss. I slightly tilted my head to the side and enjoyed the kiss.

Eventually I pulled away and softly giggled at his adorable flustered expression.

"Edd I know you must be confused on what to do now as a vampire, but just let me stay here by your side and help you though it."

I hugged him tightly.

"I love you."

His arms gently wrapped around me, hugging me in a loving matter.

"I love you too (Y/N)..."
