(Y/N)'s Pov

As usual, I was tending to making up the palace's bedrooms. I'm a maid with some knowledge. I'm known to be on of the few nurses in this place. Hence why I was hired here rather quickly. But I shall not complain. I've heard the Prince had finally been found. Oh how it brought happiness all around. I will make sure the Prince is pleased with a clean welcome to his palace, even if he most likely doesn't know who I am other than being a simple maid. Sure he's talked to me a rather large amount of times but I'm sure he's just as talkative to all the other maids.

Prince Matthew's Pov

"Yes... I am completely fine now please dismiss so I can talk Edward."

I sighed as I told all the maids surrounding me. They all nodded and walked away, lightly giggling and fawning over me.

"Quite the lady's man as always my Prince."

Edward snickered a bit in humor. I let out a sighed and slightly nodded in response. He turned to look at me as we began walking down the endless hallway of doors.

"Say... you don't seem as gleeful as usual. I thought you enjoyed the attention."

He asked, clearly catching on to my odd mood. I sighed and glanced over at the slightly shorter brunette walking by my side.

"You know me too well Edward. Look, I don't mind the attention. I actually quite enjoy it. By heavens means I could get any girl in this pesky town."

I stopped once I saw the beautiful maid that neatly organized my room.

"Any girl... but her..."

I let out a lovestruck sigh. She was quite a sight, and she had a beautiful name to go along with her look. (Y/N)... Edward looked at me with his eyebrows raised in surprise.

"A maid? My lord... how can you not get together with a maid? I'm sure she fawns over you as well?"

He asked. I quietly sighed as I kept gazing at her, knowing she was unaware of our presence.

"Everyone is head-over-heals for me. Yet someone the one person I fall in love with doesn't share those feelings like all the others... She's different..."
