(Y/N)'s Pov

I ran around in circles around my room like a mad-woman. I had completely forgotten today was Edd's birthday. I had no present for him, I had nothing planned with him, nothing. I'm such a horrible person. My hair was a mess, my day was a mess, basically I was a mess. I let out a groan of annoyance and plopped onto my bed. The bed sheets weren't even neat mind me.

"Ughhhhhh..."

I grabbed a pillow and screamed into it for about a minute. I rolled over at stared at my ceiling, thinking of how stupid I was to forget his birthday. I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

"(Y/N)? Are you alright? We can literally hear your frustration from the living room."

I heard Matt's voice slip through the door. I let out a groan of exhaustion.

"Just leave me to rot in my room Matt."

I curled up into a ball and laid on my side.

"(Y/N) I'm serious! Come out! You need to get out of your room of yours."

I closed my eyes and let out a sigh.

"Matt go away. I'm not coming out until tomorrow."

"But-"

"LEAVE."

After a few moments I heard footsteps distance away from my door. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes. I was really harsh with my words and I felt bad. But I wasn't just about to go out and greet Edd, pretending it was not his birthday. I curled up in my blankets and grabbed my favorite plushy. I hugged it tightly as memories from it ran through my head.

~Flashback~

"Well I need more toys for my novelty toy collection!"

Matt snapped as he tried to win over his point.

"No you don't."

Tom said coldly as he crossed his arms. He gave Matt a eyeless glare.

"Guys why don't we all go in our different directions? It'll be easier and it'll be more fun!"

Edd suggested cheerfully. I simply giggled at his enthusiasm.

"Good enough for me."

Tom immediately turned around and walked off to who knows where.

"Well... okay..."

Matt hesitantly agreed and walked off in the opposite direction of Tom. It only left me and Edd together. I felt a small blush spread across my face as I looked up at Edd.
