(Y/N)'s Pov

I sprinted down the long halls as loud alarms rang through the base. Each step I took was faster than the other as shouting men chased behind me. I loaded my stolen pistol as I ran towards the exit. A grin plastered on my face grew wider as I gazed at a cowardly soldier that stood on "guard" there. I brought up my pistol and aimed it towards him. He yelped and curled into a small ball. What a wimp. I quickly changed my aim and shot the lock key pad by the exit. The doors opened immediately, exposing the outside world I had dreamed about to see for all those years imprisoned. I ran through them and into the forest. I just kept running. Never stopping. Ever.

Out of breath, I tripped and collapsed onto the forest ground. I heavily panted as I laid there tiredly. How the hell did I actually get out of there alive? I'm a badass, that's how. Man I've changed so much over the years... I slowly sat up and tried catching my breath as I placed my palm against my chest. I stayed like that for a while. Eventually my breathing stabilized and I stood up. I ran my fingers through my hair as I examined my surroundings. Wait... this place looks familiar....

This is... our base? I walked forward just to make sure. It definitely was. I narrowed my eyes and clenched my fists. Why the fuck didn't they rescue me? Red Leader... did he not care about me? I walked towards one of the hidden entrances. I lifted my leg and kicked the worn out lock pad, breading it. A entrance opened. My eyes looked down into the base. It looked... abandoned? I lowered my leg and walked into the old base.

It was... completely empty. I walked down the long, cold, eerie hallways. All I hear are my footsteps and the occasional drops of water crashing onto the floor. I gulped as I notice the room I used to stay in just a few doors down. I pace over and open the door before peaking in. All my stuff was there, still intact. Odd... I slowly walked in and went over to my closet and opened it. My clothes were still there...

Well, might as well make a use of them.

After an extreme check for bugs, I plopped them on. There was a mirror in my room so I glanced over at it. My eyes widened in disbelief. This was the first time in years that I'd seen myself. Scars covered my once pure skin. I traced my fingers over my scars and bit my lip.
