"Maaaaaatt...! Pay attention to meeee!"
I whined at him.
"(Y/N). I'm busy looking at my beautiful self! Can't you wait until tomorrow?"
Matt replied, he didn't even look at me... he's always busy looking at himself in the mirror. I threw my teeth back and growled. That's always his dumb excuse!
"Fine! You know what! I'll leave you to your precious mirror! You never pay attention to me anymore-actually, you have never paid attention to me at all! Gah! I don't even know why we're dating!"
I got up and stormed out of the room. I entered my room and slammed the door harshly. I flopped onto my bed and screamed into my pillow. Yes. This is how I relieve anger and frustration. After my little tantrum, I let out a sigh and rolled over to stare at the plain ceiling. I know I might of over reacted... but I really don't want want to be in a relationship like this...
"I should break up to him..."
I mumbled my thoughts out loud as I squeezed my pillow. A bright flash illuminated the room so I immediately sat up to see what it was. My eyes widened as I laid my eyes on Matt-but he look so different...

"(Y/N) (L/N)..."
He muttered quietly as he glared at me. His voice is so much deeper than usual... I flinched at his gaze and gulped.
"M-Matt...? Is that you...?"
He gave me a quick nod.
"More so, I'm from the future (Y/N). Your present day Matt is being an vain idiot instead of treating you with the respect you need..."
He sighed and walked over to me.
"Future (Y/N) sent me here..."
He sat down on my bed and gazed at me. I just sat there awkwardly.
"Future (Y/N)....?"
I asked him. This is all so confusing...
"Yeah. Look (Y/N), this is weird talking to a younger version of my (Y/N) but let's just try to make this simple. I heard what you said earlier. You wanted to break up with your Matt; let me stop you right there. I know I might of been vain and stupid in my younger years, but My younger self will change..."
He grabbed my hand and lightly kissed the back of it. My lit up in a dark blush. Was he for real??
"I know you don't believe, heck I wouldn't believe myself neither. But... You see my (Y/N) told me that when she was younger, such as yourself, she was visited my the future version of myself, which is indeed me."
He brought his hand up to my cheek. He softly brushed his hand down my cheek and smiled.
"She told me to tell you if you need a break from your Matt it's fine. My past self needs to understand there is consequences to his blunt actions. Just make sure not to break it off with me-him completely. You're choice will change your life drastically. But... if you're still not convinced... then..."
He leaned over until our faces were nearly touching.
"I think I can do something that will convince you otherwise..."
He smirked and pressed his lips against mine. My face flushed red immediately. He pulled away shortly after. A quick kiss... but a good one. He softly smiled at me.
"Just give me another chance. I promise my younger self can do better. Just give him time and maybe some space. I'll be waiting. Goodbye (Y/N)."
He stepped off my bed and took out this small machine thing. He pressed the button and he disappeared in a flash. I just sat there dumbfounded. The hell just happened?
