(Y/N)'s Pov

I walked into the cozy living room with a book in my hand. I plopped onto the couch and let out a relaxed sigh. I was wearing black shorts with a (F/C) hoodie. I was bare foot so I sat up with my legs crossed on the couch. I opened up my book and started reading where I left off.

After about five minutes, Prince Charming decided to show up.

"(Y/N)..."

He walked up behind me. I didn't look away from my book.

"(Y/N)...!"

He wrapped his arms around me and pressed his freckled face against mine. His ginger hair brushed against my skin.

"(Y/N) I need attention...!"

Matt whined as he clearly knew I was trying to ignore him.

"Matt I'm reading. Go pester someone else."

I muttered quietly as I continued reading. He pulled me into a tight hug, eagerly wanting my attention.

"Pleeeeeeease! I want to show you something!"

"Later."

I just continued ignoring him. I just wanted to read my book. After a few more moments, he finally let go of me and walked off. Jesus finally. I looked back to see if he was really gone. I let out a sigh of guilt. Maybe I was too harsh on him. I turned back to look at my book. I tucked a strand of my (H/C) hair behind my ear. Then, I started thinking: Why did Matt give up so easily? It was very unlike him. I bit my lip as I turned the page of my book. Then, I felt someone pull me off the couch from behind me.

"YIPE!"

I yelped in surprise as I dropped my book and the floor below me. I was spun around to be face to face with a smirking Matt. I glared at him.

"Matt. Put me down on earth now."

He only let out a chuckle.

"No. I'm going to show you what I wanted to show you!"

He smiled as I let out a defeated sigh. It's not like I can say no now. He pulled me closer to him as he started walking to the backyard. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I let out a sigh. Finally,he set me down onto the green grass. I turned to look at whatever was so amazing Matt couldn't wait to show me. I just saw a giant cardboard box in the middle of the backyard.

"Wow. A giant box. Such amaze. Much interesting."

I sarcastically said in a disappointed tone.

"Pfft. It's not the box I wanted to show you silly!"

Matt said as he walked past me towards the box.

"It's what's inside the box I want to show you."

Matt opened the box and reached inside. My eyes widen when I heard small ruffling from the box. Matt took out a small (F/D/B) out. I let out a squeal as I had a mini heart attack from the cuteness. Matt held it up to his face as it gave his face a quick ADORABLE lick.

"Awwww~!"

I blurted out unintentionally. Matt walked over to me and handed me the pup.

"Here. I got this for you."

Matt smiled as I looked up at him in disbelief.

"M-Me? B-But I thought you were allergic to dogs?"

I stuttered out in disbelief.

"Nah. Not this breed."

He smiled sweetly at me. Then he realized something.

"Oh! Wait! I still have something else!"

He ran over to the box. I set the pup down so it could run around. Matt took out a bouquet of flowers and a necklace. He walked over to me and smiled.

"(Y/N) (L/N)."

His face burned up as he prepared to confess.

"I like you. A lot. More than a friend. I have always liked you."

He moved the flowers towards me.

"Will... Will you be my girlfriend?"

Matt had an adorable voice crack as he spoke the word "girlfriend." I let out a small giggle as blood rushed up to my face, creating a blush. I looked up at his hopeful eyes. He bit his lip as he awaited my response.

"Yes. I will."

I gave him a small nod and smiled back at him. A smile grew on his face and he went over and gave me a hug, without ruining the flowers. He pulled away and gave me the flowers. I held them in a warm hug as I looked up at my new boyfriend. He placed the necklace around my neck and gave me a quick peck on the lips. I looked down at my necklace in confusion. I looked back at him.

"What's the necklace for?"

I asked curiously. He smirked at my question and only replied with,

"It's a mark. It's so other guys know a lucky guy has taken your heart."

He intertwined his fingers with mine and let out a chuckle. I stuck out my tongue childishly.

"Okay yeah sure. 'Lucky.'"

"Don't doubt yourself (Y/N). I don't like that."

He made a small pout and I let out a giggle.

"Shut up Matt. Heh... I love you too."

The small puppy barked up at us and both of out attention toward it. I let out a soft chuckle and bend over and pet the pup.

"Dawww~! Who's a good puppy? Who's a good puppy!"

"So what are you going to name it?"

Matt asked curiously.

"Hmm... How about... (D/N)!"

I let out a smile in response happily.

"Sounds good."
