12 (Undyne's p.o.v.)

I stood there and watched as Papyrus hugged and comforted that...thing! She was an abomination! Neither human nor monster. I frowned and lifted up my now fully formed spear and pointed it at the creature.

"Papyrus get away from that abomination!" I shouted my eye flashing dangerously.

"Undyne what are you-" Papyrus started but the thing pulled on his arm before pushing him behind her and standing in front of me with her arms open wide which made me smirk.

"If you're going to kill me just do it. I don't care..." the creature told me, tears running down her face. I stopped short, my spear disappearing from my hand and my mouth gaping open.

"You... What?!" I exclaimed in confusion.

"I can see that you don't trust me... Seems like monsters are no different than humans... My whole life me and my little sister were bullied... We were beat... Chased after with weapons... Th-They burned our house down with my father still inside... They k-killed her... They k-killed B-Bell..." she cried before collapsing on the ground in a sobbing mess. I stood there in silence as Papyrus rushed to her side hugging her tightly and wiping away her tears. After a moment I walked over and knelt down beside her rubbing her back. She flinched for a moment before relaxing as her tears became hiccups.

"Kathrena are you okay?" Papyrus asked her. She looked up at him wiping away her left over tears.

"I'm fine, just have brad memories of the surface..." she replied before looking away.

"Who's Bell?" I asked gently.

"She was my little sister... She was nine when she died... They cut off her head and she melted right in front of me... Then they just left... "Oh Kathrena..." Papyrus said hugging her tightly.

"She...melted...?" I said with a shocked expression on my face.

"Yeah..." she nodded.

"You're just like me..." I said looking at my hands.

"What do you mean?" Kathrena questioned.

"I'll explain another time," I said quickly.

"pap who's that?" a voice asked for behind me. We all looked back to see Sans standing in the doorway with Frisk standing cautiously behind him. Papyrus stood up and grabbed Kathrena's hand as I stood up next to them. Kathrena cowered behind me trying to hide out of Sans' sight. I watched as Sans' eye lights slowly traveled down to Papyrus' feet and his face filled with complete confusion. I saw something twitch out of the corner of my eye and looked over to see a boney tail swaying.

"Papyrus what is that?" I asked. He looked at me and I noticed that he had cat ears made of bones that pressed against his head and he gave me a shy look.

"W-Well, um..." Pap trailed off twirling his thumbs and looking down.

"It's my magic..." Kathrena said walking out in front of me.

"You- You have magic?!" I asked stunned.

"Yeah... I am half monster..." Kathrena said shyly looking at the ground.

"half monster...?" I heard Sans ask.

"U-Uh..." Kathrena stuttered and I could see she was uncomfortable.

"Hey why don't we go inside?" I said quickly, stepping in front of Kathrena. I felt her touch my shoulder lightly and I looked back to see her giving me a small smile in appreciation.

"YES LET'S!" Papyrus exclaimed making his way towards my house. Sans shrugged and went back inside Frisk following behind him.

"Do you want to come inside? Me and Papyrus will make sure none of the others try anything," I said as I turned to her. She nodded and we quickly followed Papyrus inside. Everyone looked over at us and I could see they were staring at Kathrena with confusion and without warning Frisk and Chara got up. Kathrena backed up into me her ears pressing flat against her head and her tail fluffed up in fear. Frisk put an arm in front of Chara stopping her from walking forward.

"Kathrena..." Chara whispered and Kathrena perked her ears.

"H-How do you know m-my name?" she asked.

"Your Dane's daughter, right?"

"Y-Yes... Why?"

"My mother... She was his sister... Her name was Esmera... She..." Chara trailed off.

"She was killed by your father... Yes I remember you now... It's been so long Chara..." Kathrena said hugging her. I stared at them in shock. They were related?!

Okay I know this is really confusing but I feel like right now these are filler chapters until I get to where I want the story to be but I promise the next chapter will have a lot of explanations and will hopefully make a lot of more sense. Well anyway I hope that this chapter wasn't too boring... (Even though I feel like it was really boring...)
