Kyra just stared at Vader and tried to absorb that shocking information.

That's not possible! Darth Vader is Luke's father?! But Luke is my friend...! It doesn't make any sense! Kyra said in thought.

She tried listening to the conversation but she was too shocked to say or do anything else, until Luke let go and fell down the ventilators.

"LUKE NO!!!!!" Kyra screamed in dread, thus getting the attention of Vader.

After a few moments, Kyra's eyes were filled with grief and rage. She lunged at Vader with all her might to try and knock him off the catwalk to his death, but Vader was stronger and he roughly threw her to the edge of the catwalk.

"It is pointless to keep fighting." Vader growled.

"You've taken everything! My family, then Alderaan, then my husband, then Han, and now Luke is gone BECAUSE OF YOU!!" Kyra snarled back through tears. "WHO ELSE WILL YOU KILL? WILL YOU KILL ME?!"

"If you only knew young one. You were never told what happened to your father." Vader responded.

"Oh, I know, all right! You killed him and my mother! You're the reason my family's been split apart!" Kyra yelled.

"No...I am your father, Kyra."

Kyra's eyes widened in shock and in denial like Luke had before her.

"You're lying! My father would never be as vile as you!" Kyra snarled.

"Search your feelings, as Luke has." Vader said.

But then she remembered something that took place long ago, a time when she was in preschool and she had stared at Vader in curiosity, and her Nana had picked her up.

"But then, Luke would be my...!" Kyra gasped in realization.

"Your brother." Vader finished.

"Why? Why have you done all this?" Kyra sank to her knees and sobbed now, the awful truth dawning on her.

"Kyra, come with me. With your full-fledged power, we can destroy the Emperor! Together we can rule the galaxy as father and daughter!" Vader offered.

Kyra shook her head as she stopped crying. Her father, a Sith Lord, Luke Skywalker, her brother...she felt the need to throw up, to scream and rage at the truth, but more and more, she was beginning to wonder and ask herself what had really happened to her father that he had to be cruel, to always put on a mask. She wanted answers, she had realized. Answers to how Vader-no, her father had fallen so far.

"It is the only way, Kyra. Come with me." Vader said, his arm outstretched.

"I can't...I won't join you. But I can promise that there is still hope for you." Kyra said before jumping after Luke.

It wasn't long before she found Luke hanging on for dear life and the Millennium Falcon coming towards them both.

Winter and Lando got both of them and Luke was in the back of the ship, Kyra by his side.

"Why'd you come after me? You could've been killed, Kyra." Luke admonished.

"I'm more than capable of taking care of myself. I have been using the Force a lot longer than you have. Honestly, Luke, I thought I lost you." Kyra said softly. "Vader told me that he was my father too."

"What?!" Luke gaped in shock.

"Don't you feel it? I'm your sister, Luke. Your sister. Somehow we both got separated." Kyra revealed. Then she felt dizzy, and felt sick. She ran to the fresher and threw up.
