Kyra ended up shaking her head in anger and disappointment as Rey stared dumbfounded at Luke as he walked off, the words he said echoed after witnessing Rey use the Force and cracking the rocks where she and Luke stood the next day.

"I've only witnessed this raw strength once before, in Ben Solo. It didn't scare me enough then. It does now!" He had snarled.

This was definitely not the Luke she remembered. The Luke who was always curious and wanting to help other people. The Luke who smiled and saw good in other people, including their father.

"You disappoint me, Luke. This girl holds you in such high regard, yet you fail to meet her expectations. And mine." Kyra shot back. "How can she expect to defeat the First Order when the person she's looked up to refuses to teach her the ways of the Force?"

Rey looked at brother and sister clearly not wanting to be a part of an argument.

"You'll have to forgive my uncle, Rey. Ever since Ben betrayed him and destroyed his Jedi Order...it hasn't been the same." Norah said sadly. "I'm sure he'll come around."

"If there's something you're so afraid of, then tell me right now, because if you won't train her, then I will!" Kyra crossed her arms and snapped.

Luke turned around.

"This is not going to go the way you think, Kyra." Luke said harshly.

"How do you know that she will end up just like your nephew? You don't know her, you don't want to know her, and you never will get to know her if you don't give her a chance, Luke!" Kyra raised her voice, now angry. "This girl has literally lost everything! She doesn't know who she is! She lost her family! She has nothing to go back to on Jakku! And you're here telling her to turn around and go back to that junkyard because you're afraid of her raw power! Some Jedi you turned out to be!" She said, and she knew it cut her brother deeply but now she was past caring, Luke's antics were driving her crazy.

"Mom!" Norah gaped.

"I will train her, and no one is stopping me, Luke. Not even you." Kyra stormed away. Norah let her mother go, and stayed with Rey for the time being.

Anakin appeared again to her on the Falcon, sensing her feelings.

"I can feel your anger. your frustrations. It's not easy."

"How can he be so INFURIATINGLY  PESSIMISTIC?!" Kyra snarled. "Now I know how you felt when the Council rejected you multiple times! And perhaps Rey might be feeling the same way you felt!"

Anakin simply stared sadly.

"Is it really history repeating itself? First with you, and then with Ben!" Kyra continued to rant. "The Force is still out of balance, and yet...there are some things that I don't understand myself. Like how Rey and Ben are communicating with each other. I can't see him, but I can sense him." she softened.

"I think this Supreme Leader Snoke has something to do with what's going on with Rey and Ben. And as for Luke, there are some things he may have done in the past. Be wary of Snoke's intentions and find out why Luke is the way he is." Anakin said after a long thoughtful pause. He faded from view again.

Kyra was once again alone with her thoughts when suddenly, she sensed Noah. Noah was slightly injured, but alive.

Kyra...Kyra, I'm okay. I'm in the med-bay area with Leia. Right now as we speak, Admiral Holdo is taking command of the Resistance until either Leia or I recover. Anakin and the rest of the family are fine. I'm sensing that Poe is disobeying orders from Holdo and Finn and Rose are Force knows where.

"I'm so glad you're okay. Luke agreed to train the girl Rey, but he's so damn stubborn. I sense he fears her raw and untamed power. How do I get him to snap out of this bitterness and fear? Surely there has to be some way to get it through to him that the Resistance needs him." Kyra lamented.

You'll find a way, I'm sure of it. There is no one else in the galaxy that can figure all this out, but you can. Stand firm. I love you. Noah reassured his love before their bond faded.

Kyra heard Norah screaming for help and rushed out of the Falcon to find out what was going on.

"NORAH?! Norah!!! Where are you?!" Kyra shouted, adrenaline fresh in her veins.

"MOM!!! Mom, Rey fell into that water cave! Down there!" Norah answered and she was panicked.

Without a second to spare, Kyra jumped in to find the Jedi trainee. She swam and there she was, her familiar three buns were now a half-ponytail. Rey turned to see who had jumped in after her.

"Rey, are you okay?" Kyra came out of the water.

"Yeah, and no...I was so certain that this place could help me find my parents. I found nothing." Rey said despondently.

"I'm so sorry, sweetheart." Kyra embraced Rey as they headed back up to Rey's hut.

Norah explained everything that Luke told her about what had happened the fateful night of the Jedi Temple's destruction, while Rey told her Ben's side of the story, and it shocked her. Did Luke actually try to kill Ben while she escaped with her family from what would happen? She was bound to get an answer.

She sensed Ben again, and sensed that they were touching hands. Rey gasped.

"Rey, what happened?" Kyra asked.

Before Rey could answer, Luke burst into the hut shouted something out in anger and the hut blew up, leaving her, Kyra and Norah exposed to the rain.

Kyra stood up with Rey. It was time to face the truth.
