"Good morning, class." bati ni Miss Fross ng makapasok na kami sa loob ng silid.
And what will the class answer? "Good morning, Miss." of course. ^_^
"It's already in the middle of AUGUST but I would like to introduce a new student to all of you. She's a transferee from America but don't worry, she's a filipina." nakangiting sabi ni Miss sa class and that smile was still in her face when she faced me and motioned me to introduce myself.
"Hello!" I said as I faced the class but I was taken aback first when I saw somoeone...... but then I still continued "I'm Kaira Joy King. Please to meet you all." I bowed and gave them my sweetest smile. "Don't worry. My last name is King but I'm not half-american. Echos lang yun ng ama ko. Dapat kasi 'Hari' yun pero akala niya sosyal kapag english kaya pinapalitan niya ng 'King'." and the class laughed. What? Did I crack some jokes? O please tell me, I really don't know. I just stated a fact.
"So if you're not half-american then maybe half-korean?" a girl sitting infront asked me.
"Nope. I'm pure. Ang katawan ko ay dugo't pawis ng dalawang pilipino kaya rest assured, girl." seryoso kong sabi pero nagtawanan sila. Seriously, what's with the class?
"So half-japanese?" this time, a cute guy asked me. Hmm? Cute? Haha, heck yah.
"Nope, cutie. I just said, paghihirap... ako... ng... dalawang.... pilipino. Bow!" dahandahan kong sinabi para marinig nila ng mabuti, baka kasi hindi na naman. No laughing this time, from the girls, but the guys? They teased the cute-guy because I called him 'cutie'. Eh totoo naman ah.
"'Cutie' daw pare. Hahaha." another guy just said that.
"Eh bakit ka nagbow?" a nerd asked me. Weh? Nerd? Maingay na pala. Joke lang. Hehehe. She's just wearing a pair of eyeglasses, not really sure if she's a nerd or not.
"Ha?" I faced Miss Fross and gave her a confused look "Bawal po ba, Miss?"

"No, they're just asking, Ms. King." Miss answered with a smile. Etong si Miss, di na lang tumawa, pinipigilan pa. Halata naman eh.
"You bowed so we thought, may lahi kang intsik, hapon o koreana. Di naman kasi ganyan ang mga pilipino and siguradong wala rin yan sa America." sabi naman nitong plain-looking girl.
"Ahhh." tapos tumawa ng malakas. I just stopped when I noticed na tumahimik ang buong klase. "Oopps, Sarreh naman." nakangiting sabi ko. "Kayo naman kasi. Uso na kaya yan lalo't ang lakas na ng hatak ng K-pop ngayon. Tapos yung mga korean dramas, bumabalandra na rin, sa Abs-cbn, GMA pati na din ata sa TV 5. O diba? Sino ang hindi maiimpluwensyahan diyan?" nanlalaki pa yung mga mata ko nung sinabi ko iyon. And guess what? Bakas na bakas ang gulat sa mga mukha ng mga nandun kahit si Miss except only for one guy at the back, actually kasi, kanina pa parang gulat ang mukha niya.
