Hey guys!

This is my first fanfic (about Hogwarts etc.) so please don't kills me <3 I'll try to update regularly, although my seemingly full head of ideas tends to run short. Very quickly. I will try to stick to the stories, but I may change it in some bits.

Bye for now

Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was real, I was going to Hogwarts! A place of magic, learning and adventure. I was excited, ecstatic. Rolling over, I look at my alarm clock. 4:00 am glowed brightly in my dark room. I groaned and rolled back so I was facing the wall.

I thought about Draco. He would be going to Hogwarts too. I hadn't seen him in a while. I'd sent owls. They always came back without an answer. I remembered the jokes and pranks. Malfoy Manor hallways were constantly filled with tripwires, hooks and pulleys, hidden of course. Now? I wans't so sure. Did Draco remember? Did he care? Did he think about me. We had been so close. The best of friends! Now... I wasn't sure what we were. Friends? Enemies? I didn't know. I giggled. I remembered our inside jokes. When he was very young, he absolutely loved green apples. Once, we were both climbing in a tree. He held a perfect green apple in his small hands.

"I got this... for you!"

"Thank you Draco! It's so-"

And he bit it. He took my apple! He laughed and I huffed.

"Try the red ones Alya! They're okay!"

"But I don't like them! I like the green ones!"

"Come on, try them!"

"No! Red is yucky. Green is yummy! I like green."

I smiled at the memory. We were such kids back then. It was funny, really!

After trying to get back to sleep I gave up. I silently crept to my door and grabbed my dressing gown. After slipping into it, I opened the door as silently as possible. Which was disappointing, considering I'd had the door oiled just yesterday. Damn creaks. I decided to leave the door a little ajar.

Creeping along the hallway, I stopped outside the door to my parents room. I listened. No sounds? Good. I made my way up to the top floor of the manor, there were still no signs of any moving thing. Finally, I reached the roof, the door was a little creaky, but pretty good, considering that it hadn't been oiled in a long, long time.

Out on the roof, everything was silent. I lazily pulled a quill, ink pot and several rolls of parchment out of my dressing gown pockets. I looked towards the east, there was a slightly pink hue on the horizon. Great, sunrise! I began to doodle of a small corner of the parchment, little did I know, that a certain bird was watching me.

"Hoot Hoot!"

"Ash-shh!"

I whisper yelled, Ash, the family owl, had landed on my outstretched arm. He pecked affectionately at my fingers. I gave his feathers a quick ruffle, he let out a soft hoot. I noticed that Ash was carrying a small rolled up piece of parchment in his claws. I lifted him up and tickled the back of his claws, he let go and began flying around me head. I opened the carefully folder note.

Dear Ella,

It has come to my attention that Alya will be attending Hogwarts this fall. My son, Draco will be attending the school as well. I was hoping to invite you round for dinner sometime before the academic term starts. I think it would be lovely to have Alya and Draco meet up agin before they go to Hogwarts. Lucius and I would love to have you over for a chat and a bite to eat, we have much to catch up on.
