I sneaked back down the stairs and slipped into my room. I hope no one noticed me.....

"Ahem"

I whirled around. Ma, great.

"Uh... hi Ma... erm."

"Where have you been?"

"I was on the roof, drawing...."

"It's 6 in the morning."

"I know Ma, I wanted to watch the sunrise. And plus, I couldn't sleep."

"Well. Sweetie, you know what day it is right?"

"Um... Saturd- MERLIN'S BEARD! We're going to Diagon Alley right?!?!?!"

"Uh-huh and sweetie? Narcissa sent an owl, she'd like to invite us over for dinner. I said we could go tonight. So you'll get ready as soon as we're back okay?"

"Okay Ma!"

"And breakfast's ready dear. Aemelia's cooked up a delicious meal."

I nodded and ran to my wardrobe. I looked at the rack and searched it until my brain was quite literally a little, lumpy blob. Finally I found what I wanted. A black dress with emerald green and filigree gold designs. I laid it out on the bed and pulled out a pair of green ballet flats to go with it. Turning back to my wardrobe I grabbed a pair faded jeans, a white shirt and a black hoodie. I put on my pajamas in a bundle by the door. Aemelia liked it that way. I picked up my wand, a roll of parchment, a quill and a brand new ink pot. I reached onto my bedside table and grabbed my letter and a pouch filled with galleons. Racing out of my room, I'm pretty sure I scared the living daylights out of Hazel. Thinking quickly, I jumped on the banister and slid down it.

I burst into the dining hall and gave Pa and Orion a heart attack each.

"Alya, one day you will kill us all. Pa, Ma and me!"

I ran over to Orion and gave him a quick squeeze.

"Orio, today Ma's taking me to Diagon Alley!"

"Cool! But don't call me Orio okay?"

"Fine, Rio? Ori?"

"Orion is fine"

After breakfast I raced out of the dining hall and into the entrance hall.

"Come on Ma! Come on come on!"

"Sweetie, meet me in the living room okay? I need to get my purse and talk to your father."

Nodding, I walked into the living room. I sat down on the sofa and called for Hazel. Soon enough I heard a soft pattering and the noise of feet. I looked up surprised. Orion stood glowering in the door. Uh-oh.

"This came for you"

He grunted and shoved a small letter into my hands. He stormed out of the room soon after. Hazel peeked in and trotted up to my feet. She sat. I slid my finger under the seal and pulled it off. The first thing I noticed was a strong scent of mint. I pulled a letter out of the envelope as well as a shrunk-down tree cutting and a sprig of mint. I set all of the things on the table and unfolded the letter.

Dearest Alya,

I'm sorry about before. When I got home, I felt terrible. I really did. I never want to hurt you in anyway. You're my only real friend, and I need you. Mother said that you're coming over for dinner tonight, maybe we can talk then. As for now, I'm going to Diagon Alley today. Would you care to join me? Because it would make my year if you did.

Love,

Draco.

I smiled and re-read the letter. He was so sweet, I missed him. Smiling I picked up the tree cutting. Muttering the incantation, it grew to it's full size. I saw a note attached to the bottom. It read:
