Part 2 of the previous chapter!

A raven cawed as I rushed back to the Slytherin dormitories. Not that I'm superstitious or anything, but I didn't take it as a bad omen. I'm just no the most fond person of ravens. I slipped into the common room just as the clock stroked 10. I heard a few of the older students moaning about how the clock was a liar. I suppressed a bout of laughter and dashed off to bed. I opened the door as quietly as I could and found an expectant Millicent sitting on the end of her bed.

"Where were you?"

"Away."

"Amy's alright if you were wondering, albeit distraught but she's still breathing."

"Thanks, gimme a few minutes. I'm going to have a shower and get ready for bed."

Millicent nodded and I swept my pajamas of my bed, dumping my bag in the process. I washed my hair and let the hot water soothe my tired muscles. I stepped ot of the steamy shower and wrapped a fluffy towel around my body, I dried off, brushed my teeth and walked back into the sleeping quarters. Millicent had a book open and her lamp was on. Amy's bed was still empty. I sighed and flopped onto my bed.

"Millicent?"

"Mmm?"

"What are your thoughts on the whole troll incident?"

"Eh, some idiot probably let it in... I dunno. Get some sleep."

"Yeah... night Millicent."

"Night Princess."

I scoffed, rolled over and glanced at the lake through a slit in the curtains. I lapsed into sleep with the moonlight on my face.

Soft sunlight filtered in through the parted curtains. The sound of hushed chatter and the sounds of muffled quills floated into the slightly open door. Amyleah sat nervously on the edge of the bed. She anxious eyes roamed over the sleeping figures of Millicent and Alya. Quiet as a shadow, she slipped out of the dorm and away. She sneaked into the common room and ran so as to avoid the stares. One girl looked up form her papers, piercing blue eyes met Amy's dark browns ones. She quickly ran to her secluded corner of the lake and sat down. The grass grew to about two an a half inches and there were little clusters of daises scattered across the soft grass. Amy let out a sigh and placed her bag on a large, flattish stone.

The stone itself was quite pretty, greyish with fleck of red and deep drown. Through the middle, a thin vein on quartz ran in a wave shape. Amy traced her fingers through the grass, as a soft breeze rippled the water. Amy's eyes slowly grew heavy, her head rested on her arm.

I shoved an apple in my pocket and left the Hall. Yeah, most eyes on me. So what, let them stare - it's not like I care. I heard Millicent call out my name, I brushed it off. The doors slammed loudly behind me, I stormed all the way to the Lake and dropped to the ground under some tree. I felt tears stinging at the corners, no. I blinked them back and steadied myself. Alya Black does not cry. Instead I took my frustration out on the poor tree. My knuckles were red and raw by the time I was done venting my frustration. Stupid Millicent! Amy's one of my closest bloody friends, how dare she hide her from me! Millicent... all long she knew that Amy's was out of the Hospital Wing. I let out a frustrated scream and punched the tree again. This poor tree really has taken a beating... I was tempted to let out a held back sob, but I kept it in. Sliding down the tree, I pulled myself up into a ball. I only looked up when I heard a soft cough.
