The room was spruce paneled with dark curtains. Three mysterious figures were shrouded by darkness. A cold voice rang out.

"You exist to serve the Dark Lord. Or perhaps you have forgotten? I think a little pain should fix that... Crucio!"

The tallest of the three figures cast the spell. The other two writhed on the ground in pain. One of the figures lost it's hood. Blonde hair tumbled out. Brown eyes stared at me, full of pain, full of weakness. She gasped a rattling breath. Blood dribbled from her lip.

"Please Severus, save our daughter. Save Alya."

~~ dream over ~~

I woke up drenched in sweat. I rolled out of bed and ran to the bathroom. The cold stone floor stung my feet. Gasping, I looked at the mirror. My face was pale. Glancing at my watch I saw it was 6:00 am. I sighed, it was fine. I was going to get up soon anyway. I took a quick hot shower and changed into my uniform. Tying my tie, I looked in the mirror again. The colour had returned to my face. I ran a brush through my hair and went back into the dorm. Pansy, Millicent and Amyleah were up. Millicent got up and ran into the bathroom when she saw I was done. I grabbed my bag and packed my books, parchment, quill, ink pot and my potions box containing my ingredients. Picking my wand up again, I left the room while yelling a goodbye over my shoulder.

I walked quietly down the stairs as not to disturb anyone. Hearing whispers from the common room, I froze. I crept into the shadows and listened.

"You don't understand Blaise!"

That was Draco. I dared to peep around the corner. They both had their backs to me, they stood silhouetted by the window. I stood in the doorway, in full view.

"Don't you get it Blaise?! I can't I-"

Draco turned around. He paled. I leaned against the frame of the door. Blaise turned too, he stared.

"H-How much did you hear?"

"Not enough, what's going on? You can't what, finish a sentence?"

Draco glared. I smirked, I slung my bag over my shoulder. Walking to the door I turned on my heel.

"And Draco? Your sitting next to me in DADA, so tell me then yeah?"

As the portrait swung shut I heard Blaise start lecturing Draco about something of other. Ha, sucker. Walking to the Great Hall, I arrived early and was able to have a longer breakfast. After eating a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice, I waited for the mail. While I waited, I looked at my timetable.

DADA, Flying Lessons, Potions, Transfiguration and then Charms. I smiled, it was looking like a good day. I was looking forward to Transfiguration. I felt someone slide into the seat next to me, I looked up. Draco. He gave a smile and proceeded to pour himself some orange juice. I heard the swooping of owls, looking up I spotted Athena. She swooped down and dropped off another letter. I gave her a few pieces of cornflakes and let her sit on my shoulder. I opened the letter and began to read.

Dear Alya,

Congrats on getting onto the team. I would talk to you personally but I haven't been able to see you among all of the midgets. I'm kidding! I've seen you hanging out with the Malfoy kid, but don't get too friendly okay? He's come from a powerful family and I don't know what he's capable of. I want you to stay safe. When your first game comes around, I'll be cheering for you okay? I gotta get back to studying. Don't forget I love you, also Leo's gotta go to Ukraine to sort out a dragon issue. He's working with Weasley. Well, that's all from me. Leo sends his love. Reply soon.

Love, Orion.

l glanced up, scanning across the table I didn't see my brother. Probably studying by the Lake. I grabbed a quill and wrote a quick reply.
