I woke to the sound of panic. Sitting bolt upright, I scanned the room in a panic. Millicent's robe was just disappearing around the door frame. I pulled on my school uniform and pulled and arm through the sleeve of my robe. I picked up my bag, grabbed my toiletries bag and picked the necklace up off my bedside table. I held my wand in my hand and ran out of the room. (A.N: I realise that I completely forgot about the troll, since I'm super lazy and can't be bothered to go back and change it - I'm writing it in here. Also I'm writing it differently so yeah Please don't kill me <3) I burst into the common room to find Khloe lining up the students and reading of a register. The room was chaos. Someone was hitting a boy with a Charms textbook, while another girl was causing red sparks to flare around the room. A rouge owl was fluttering around Jacob's head (Slytherin Prefect) and I saw Blaise throw a punch. I ran over and grabbed his fist just as he was about to punch the wall.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa back it up. What are you doing?"
"It's nothing, leave me alone."
I shoved passed me and stormed across the room. He frowned at the fireplace and fingered a piece of coal which had slipped onto the hearth. I sighed, Blaise was impossible. I searched for Draco. I found him huddled on a chair behind the Jacob. I slid onto a chair.
"Hey."
"What?"
"What's wrong, something's off between you two and you're acting all different. Tell me what going on.'
'No.'
I raised an eyebrow, so he wants to be stubborn? Well, two can play that game. I chuckled, stood up and kicked the chair back. It fell to the ground with a surprisingly loud clatter. All sound ceased. Finally, Khloe spoke.
"Great, Alya you're here. Jacob I think we've got everybody. Professor. Snape's going to be here in a minute for a last second dorm check. Everybody follow Jacob! If he tell you to stop - oi you two there, shut it! - If Jacob tells you to stop, you stop. If he says run, run. You will follow orders from him, if any of you disobey you are not only putting your life at risk, you are putting others at risk. This will all be carried out in complete and utmost silence. Have a made myself clear?"
A collective murmur went around the room. Khloe clapped her hands and sent us following Jacob. I sighed and let myself sink to the back. I felt a shard tap on my shoulder, Khloe put a finger to her lips and pushed my forward. Like a Shepard herding sheep, Khloe and Jacob kept us in order. We walked into the Great Hall and were seated at our tables. I cast a worried glance across all of the tables. Hermione had a book open, Saint Potter was trying to interrogate Percy Weasel and the youngest Weasel - Ron, was it? - was asleep on the table. Over on the Ravenclaw table, Luna was casting some sort of charm on her goblet. I took a quick scan of the Hufflepuff table. I tried to see if I could place anyone's names. I caught Cedric's eye and waved. He gave he a brief smile and returned to chatting to his friend. And ignoring the girl who was shamelessly trying to flirt with him. It was actually sickening. I looked further down the table. I saw a slightly familiar face, it was her. It was the girl who'd run into Draco, the girl with the daisy and the book. My attention snapped to the front.
"Attention please, thank you. I understand that today has been a little more unsettling than usual and I must apologise. It appears we have had a security breach."
The Hall burst into chatter. I stayed quiet and held my composure, at this rate, nothing would happen. Dumbledore waved his wand and silence fell over the Hall. His piercing eyes raked over the crowd.
"Our security breach is currently being managed by some members of our staff. Lessons will be postponed until the breach has been covered and disposed of. Please remain as silent a possible."
A wave of whispers washed over the Hall. I slumped onto the table and absentmindedly doodled oh a scarp of parchment. I only stopped when a paper crane fluttered onto my head. I sat up and read the note.
Hey,
Look I'm sorry for snapping at you this morning. A lot of stuff is happening right now and it's really tough for me. I'm sorry, and know that I don't say those words often. Please forgive me.
~Zabini
I looked up the table and saw Blaise giving me the puppy eyes look. I gave him a small smile and took a small bite of the food that had appeared on the table. There were lots of plates and bowls of food, but I wasn't hungry. I put a green apple in my bag and stared blankly at the enchanted ceiling. My attention slowly drifted away, I heard the voice of a woman. Well, more of a sob but you get the idea. I suddenly realised I was in a dream. It was like a memory, I was in control, but everything was happening in slow motion. I turned a corner and saw a figure with its back to me. A deep, gravely voice echoed in the stony corridor.
"Give he up, give her up and your life will be spared, give her up, and your name restored. Give her up, and I will spare your family"
I saw a wand slip out of the figures robe. I shrank back into the shadows, I had a feeling that this was about to get ugly. I backed away, waiting for the inevitable.
"Please, don't do this! She's only eleven, please - wait until she's thirteen! Older, please! P-"
"Avada Kedrava!"
The womans hood slipped back as her body crumpled in slow motion. A sheet of strkingly blonde hair fell with her. I gasped... Amy? Everything went black, and I woke with a start
"Alye, get up for Merlin's sake!"
I blearily rubbed my eyes and sat upright, Blaise was sitting across from me. I ran a nervous hand through my hair, I looked up.
"Yeah, what did I miss?"
"Well, not much. I just wanted to talk."
"Sure, what's up?"
Blaise shrugged and started talking about Puddlemere United. The atmosphere in the Hall was quiet and peaceful, almost as if everyone knew another year was drawing to a close. A question suddenly popped into my head. I excused myself and walked up to Khloe and Jacob who were talking in hurried whispers with Dumbledore at the front. I felt as the Hall's general noise level dropped down a notch and multiple pairs of eyes followed me. I quietly cleared my throat. Khloe's head turned.
"Khloe, could I please speak to you for a second?"
"Of course, excuse me Professor. Dumbledore. I will return in a second, Jacob - keep talking."
Khloe steered me away into a corner of the Great Hall, the noise level rose.
"Well, what is it?"
"About the tutoring, when will it start. The end of the year's what, two months away?"
"The tutoring will commence this weekend, and it will run until the very last weekend of the school year. Does that answer your question?"
"Yep, thanks Khloe"
I gave her a small wave and walked briskly back to the Slytherin table. I glanced up when I heard the doors to the Hall opened and shut with a shard snap. I saw an envelope barreling it's way toward Professor. Dumbledore. Khloe and Jacob jumped aside as the envelope hurtled into Dumbledore's hand. He opened it, read it and tucked it into his robe pocket. His expression was grave. His eyes connected with mine as he scanned the Slytherin table, he beckoned for me. I raised an eyebrow and stood up. Walking to the teachers table, I addressed him.
"I believe you called for me sir?"
"Indeed I did, Ms. Black. The reason being, there has been an accident regarding your friend... Ms. Erested"
I felt my face drain of colour, what was it? I ground my teeth, if anyone had hurt her...

The leaves spun around the inner courtyard as I sat on the edge of the fountain. Icy water swirled around my frozen hand. A harsh wind bit at my cheeks, but still I continued to stay outside. Amy... I gulped and stared up at the sky. It was a steely grey with a hint of rain. Jeez, even the weather reflected my mood. I heard a low rumble of thunder in the east. I glanced towards the sounds and saw a definite storm brewing. How long had I been out here? I grabbed my bag and ducked under cover as first drops of rain fell
