It was quite, the crickets chirping, and yet there was me laying there on the parking lot of the school, nearly midnight, I woke up feeling dizzy and a major headache. I sat up rubbing my head wondering on what the heck just happened. The headache was strong, and my vision was a bit blurry. I picked myself up and looked into the baseball field. It was quite.
"What just happened...?" I said to myself.
I walked over to my burnt bag and looked at it. "Those were my favorite clothes too..." I said
I picked it up and threw it into the trash, and as I walked passed the trashcan I saw another message on paper. I ignored it and walked to my skateboard hoping it wasn't touched.
Luckily it wasn't and I hopped on and checked on my phone to see if anyone has called me or texted me. Nobody has so I just rode off onto the sidewalk, on my way home I rode across the bridge and through the plaza, I was just a street away from home, my headache still wasn't feeling right. It felt strong. As I was riding through town I passed an alley where I had the feeling I was being watched from it, but I just ignored it and went riding off.
I finally made it home and put my skateboard into the garage, on my way in I passed my dogs bed, my dog was Rover, I had Rover since I was 8 and I've been training him ever since, he's so well trained even a queen would have him over for dinner.
I snuck passed him hoping he wouldn't bark at me but luckily he was asleep, everyone else in the house was asleep so I looked at the clock and saw it was nearly midnight. "How long was I out?!" I said.
I walked into the bathroom, open the cabinet and took an aspirin hoping it would calm down my head-ache. However, the aspirin didn't help one bit, in fact I think it made it worse. I just ignored it and went upstairs for bed, when I entered our room I saw Amy sleeping in her bed and Jake Sleeping while cuddling his Fox plush. I opened the dresser trying not to wake them and I got out sleeping pants and a shirt, I put them on and climbed into my bed still with the strong headache.
Morning Struck and I shot up from bed when my alarm clock scared me. Amy and Jake were already out of bed and downstairs, I looked over at the radio and turned it on to WackyWorldNews. It was right in the middle of it when the man spoke.
"Now back to other topics, someone was spotted climbing out of someone's house holding what looks to be a shopping bag. The spotter didn't get a good face but did explain something the figure was wearing. The figure was wearing a golden amulet around their neck with a hint of purple in the middle."
"Finally, something interested" I said.
"we'll be right back in about an hour" said the man on the radio
I groaned and slammed my head back onto the bed, I than got up and got dressed and walked downstairs. I made it downstairs where I met up with Jake and Amy when Jake noticed that I didn't look good. "Morning Zack...are you feeling alright? You're really pale" he said.
"I just had a rough night last night and I have a terrible head-ache"
"Hey Zack have you seen my Illusion Amulet? I can't find it now" said Amy
"I haven't seen it..." I said
"oh...well I'm going to go wait for the bus with Clover and see if she has seen it" she said as she walked out the door.
"where's mom?" I asked.
"She already left for work. That headache must have done a number on you, you slept in for a while!"
"It might have been the aspirin I took before bed..."
"Looks like it, you look terrible"
"You think..." i said.
