Chapter 11 - Baseball Bonanza

It was almost five in the afternoon and I was getting ready for the game. Rover kept rubbing against my leg like he was trying to tell me something. Mom walked in. "Sweetie are you sure you want to do this?" she asked.

"Yes mom it'll be fine; I'd rather show them who I am then hide it"

"I just think this is crazy, having a... a... what are you again?" she questioned.

"A Lucario..." I answered putting a bat into my bag.

"Yeah... I just think it's crazy having a Lucario play a baseball game, it's not natural!"

"Says the mother talking to her son who is a game character..."

She froze for a second. "Fair point..." she responded.

"I just want to make sure what's best for you..."

"I know..."

I finished packing and mom called down to Jake and Amy. They came running down the stairs.

"You kids ready?"

"Were all set mom" said Amy.

Jake looked excited. "Zack look at this!" he claimed holding his phone.

"Our baby food challenge is skyrocketing!" he said.

"really!" I said.

Jake showed me his phone of the video, over two million views!

"That's nuts!" I said.

I noticed something in the "Recommended" section. "What's that video?" I pointed out.

The video was named. "Something Insane That You'll Never Forget, EVER!"

"Over three million views" said Amy.

"Let me watch it" said Jake.

Jake pressed it and watched, as he watched his eyes widened, the more he watched the wider his eyes got.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's uh... it's nothing..." he said softly.

With my ExtremeSpeed ability I snatched his phone out of his hands revealing what he was watching, and he was watching that I thought I couldn't see. Jake was watching a video that someone posted and the video was my transformation.

I remained silent while watching the video, and the kids that vomited in class were correct, I felt like vomiting watching it, who knew that a human body could become something horrifying.

It was silent and Jake snatched his phone out of my paws. "Ok we had enough of seeing that" he said.

"Let's just go to the game" said Mom.

We all walked out of the door and went to school for the game.

We made it to the game and my team was waiting for me and so was the other team, TheLumberjacks. They were practicing their swings and stances to catch, pitch, and run.

Spectators sat in foldable chairs and others sat on the bleachers waiting for the game to start. I walked up to my team who were chatting, Gloria was chatting as well, Noah was in my team as well.

The team looked at me and by my surprise they recognized me. "There's the Rookie!" said Cody.

"I don't believe this? How do you know who I am?!" I said with a slight smile.

"We saw the video on YouTube and Facebook, that transformation must have been painful" said Johnny.

"You think it's comfortable having a spike come busting out of your chest and hands" I said.
