Chapter 22 - A New Life...

I screamed as i fell from the tall collapsing building. My screaming echoed through my aura, deep as usual.

As I was falling I saw a big net and saw over seven firemen holding it. I landed and bounced in the big hefty net. I picked myself up from the net. And the firemen were glad to see me!

Jake, Amy, Clover, Noah, and Mom quickly ran over. "Zack you're ok!" Shouted Noah.

"Oh sweetie you're ok!" Mom said as she hugged me.

"We thought you were gone!" Claimed Jake.

"We saw everything on the roof!" Said Clover.

"Who knew Gloria wanted some mercy!" Claimed Amy.

Mom let go as i shoved her off of me and i quickly jumped off the net.

"Clara... where's Clara!"

"We thought she was with you?!" Said Jake.

I was silent quickly examined the location. All i saw was firemen, survivors and the big net. The rain finally let up.

I finally saw something, I saw Clara on a white towel. I jumped and ran to her!

I ran up and stopped seeing the horror I was seeing. Clara was laying on her side showing her huge gash on her side, she was panting heavily from the pain.

Everyone ran up, Jake gasped. "Oh no..." said Amy.

I knelt down onto my knees so i can see Clara. "Clara... can you hear me...?"

Clara slowly turned her head to me. She looked like she was in a lot of pain, she could barely keep her eyes open, i knew what was going to happen... She didn't have much time left...

"You're a hero, you know that right...?"

"I'm... I'm just glad... I could... help you..." she said softly.

"Just relax... " i said.

Clara said nothing but panting.

"Thanks for everything..." i said.

"Thank your... for showing me... how Pokemon is... in real life..."

I froze.

"You'll live an... amazing life... you just gotta stay... determined..."

"Thank you for helping me, you helped me accomplish my goal of getting revenge..."

Clara said nothing. My eyes began to fill with tears.

"I'm glad I got... to go on a fun... adventure with you guys..." she panted.

"Sucks it was... the first one..." she panted.

"Don't say that, it's stuff and nonsense" I said.

Clara was silent. I glared at her burned clothes and the torn side from where Gloria clawed her.

I closed my eyes and dangled my head. I then yanked off my mega stone necklace. I placed it in her hand and closed her hand.

Clara was silent but she glanced at the necklace in her hand.

"You need... to go... and... use this form, as an opportunity... to a new life..."

"I'm not going anywhere!" I claimed as i grabbed her empty hand with both of my paws.

"Not without you..."

Clara was silent. "I need to tell you something..." she said.

Clara reached into her sweater pocket and pulled out a small empty syringe.
