2 DAYS LATER

The school dance has finally arrived. Everyone was in the gym dancing, elementary kids, middle schoolers, teens even parents showed. The school lights lit up the sky. Everyone was in the gym dancing the night out, Clara was back, Gloria was defeated and it's time to party. Just like how a usual movie would end.

I stood by the snacks drinking a glass of punch, the lights in the dark gym shone and flickered on everyone dancing on the floor. The DJ worked on the tunes for the party.

I was silent everyone was enjoying themselves, i smirked at the dancing group on the dance floor.

I sighed as everyone was living their normal lives, but mine and Clara's were going to be different. I was silent and took a drank out my punch.

Someone cleared their throat by me, I glared at them with the glass in my mouth, i then pulled the glass out of my mouth, Clara was standing next to me.

"Hey Clara"

"Hey Zack" she said with a happy expression.

"Glad you seem to be enjoying your new self" i said.

"Yep! I didn't know being a fire type Pokemon would be so cool!"

"Don't get wild up now... you do know your usual life is gone right...?"

Clara sighed. "Yeah... but I'm glad I'm a Braixen, you won't be alone anymore!"

"I was never alone" i said "I had you, Pokemon or not i was never alone with you around"

Clara smiled.

"You two seemed to be having fun" Jake said walking up.

Clara chuckled. "Yep, we're having a great time"

I wrapped my arm around Clara.

"You two deserve better"

Me and Clara gave a confused look.

"I mean, you two are no longer human... so... why not be named Pokemon?!"

Me and Clara glanced at each other. "Why not?!" i said.

"You're fine with it?" she said.

"Meh, I already lived through a nightmare, i can handle this" i said.

Clara and i grinned.

"Great! You two have fun "Lucario" and "Braixen" Jake said chuckling.

"Shut up..." I chuckled.

Jake winked and walked away.

Me and Clara clinked our punch glasses together as a toast of fun, as we did the music changed.

YMCA began to play. Clara froze. "Thats YMCA, thats our song!"

"It's been awhile since i last heard this thing" i chuckled.

"Come on! Let's go dance to it!"

"Wait Clara i can't dance in this body!"

"Just because your a Lucario doesn't mean you can't dance" she said grabbing my paw and dragged me onto the dance floor.

Kids, Teens and parents began dancing the correct dance for the song, while others did their own dance moves. Clara shook her hips as the song played.

I was silent then just taped my paw like feet to the beat. The music of YMCA all of a sudden kicked to drums banging and my tail began to move. I was getting to the beat. The man singing, sang "YMCA" and as he did I shook my shoulders and elbows, and skidded my feet.
