Beyond The Aura (Very Old)

Chapter 20 - Race to The Hotel

It was around nine at night and it was pouring rain, thunder hit the sky and me, Jake, Amy, Noah, and Clover were sitting here with us because they decided to stay just to comfort me, Clara couldn't make it, she was staying at the hotel helping her mother.

"Anything that we could use to go against Gloria?" Asked Noah.

"I don't even know anymore... She's like unstoppable..." said Jake.

"Lets face it... we lost... I'm going to have to quite the team... in order for her to leave us alone..." i said.

"We threw her in jail... i don't think she'll leave us alone..." claimed Amy.

Mom came charging out of the bathroom wearing her firefighter outfit, "Kids I got a call for a fire, it's at the DayLight Hotel!" I froze when i heard the hotel.

"They say it's the biggest fire we dealt with, The thing is my GPS is broken!"

"That's Clara's hotel! I claimed.

"We need to get moving then! Zack your bus passes that place all the time, give me the directions in the car!"

"No time! I'll run and you follow!"

"Are you nuts! I'll hit you!"

"I'm a Lucario, I can run as fast as a cheetah! I'll be fine!" I claimed as I charged out the door.

Everyone glanced at each other then raced outside into the pouring rain. Everyone got into the car and i stood in front of it like three yards away. Mom started the car and the engine roared, The headlights shone onto my back, Mom activated the emergency light on the roof of her car.

I took off running and mom slammed the gas. We ran through town and i had them follow me, I continued running. Mom focused on me and tried following me, Noah poked his head into the front of the car and saw me running past traffic, the light on moms car made a lot of cars pull over.

"Your brothers awesome..." said Noah to Jake.

Jake glanced at him.

I ran up to a burning tall building, Moms fire fighter girls were spraying water all over the building but the fire wasn't dieing down. I stopped and mom hit the brakes, I looked around hoping to see Clara, making sure she escaped the fire.

I noticed over fifteen people sitting with towels around them, i knew they survived the fire. I saw Clara's Mother, i ran up to her.

"Mrs Nathan what happened!"

"I don't know! A big grey fox looking thing tackled me and threw me out the window! I was able to land in the pool but Clara is still in there!" She cried.

She then began to weep in fear of her daughter. I glanced at the building then i saw something, it was a dark black shadow sphere and it aimed at me, I jumped out of the way as it crashed onto the ground.

I glanced at the building and gave it a look, I then heard unusual laughter, it sounded like Gloria but more raspy. I gasped.

"Amy! I need to get in there and save Clara!"

"That fire will kill you!"

"I'll take that chance!" I said as i glared at my mega stone bracelet.

"Any ideas?!" Claimed Clover.

Clover looked at me and i pointed at my bracelet. "Now? But you're not under control!"

I ignored her and pressed it. Everyone screamed at me but it was too late. The glow faded and i was silent in Mega form. I stood there looking at the fire panting heavily.

Everyone huddled together and i was silent looking at the fire. "Is he focused..." whispered Jake.

I then growled and slowly turned to the group. The rain was still pouring and it didn't help with the fire either. I glared at the group and my eyes glew orange like i did with Lindsey's family. I snarled viciously at the group. Everyone trembled in fear.

My paws came into a fist and collided together, I then slowly pulled them apart and formed the aura bone. Everyone whimpered and trembled in fear. I stepped closely up to the group, everyone ducked except Jake. I snarled at him.

"So you wanna play that way huh?" He said with a straight face but still trembling.

He slowly lifted his hand, "Easy...easy..." he said softly.

He laid his hand on my shoulder and i still growled at him. "Look at me" he said.

I glared at his eyes with my glowing orange eyes. Jake swallowed a scream. It was silent but I then snapped and tried biting his arm, he quickly jerked it back before i could get him. Jake then ducked and i lifted the bone over my head ready to swing down and hit the group.

Everyone ducked and waited for the impact. My eyes glow faded and I was about to swing it down until something stopped me. "No!" Said a voice.

I froze and my head trembled with purple smoke flowing out of my eyes. The shadow figure with my normal Lucario shape stood there looking at me and aiming his paw at me and his paw was lit up with purple smoke.

"No... Don't hurt son!" He said.

The figure closed his paw into a fist and the purple smoke in his paws vanished as well the ones in my eyes. I froze and the aura bone vanished. I shook my head but my paws remained in the air like i was holding a long pole.

I stopped shaking my head and glared at the group still ducking and trembling in fear. I dropped my arms and glared at my red fur paws. "Zack..." said Jake.

"Jake..." i said.

A shadow sphere blasted at me at the back of my feet and i went flying over into a bush a distance away. I poked my head out from the bush and glared at my paws, I was still in Mega form but i was in control this time.

My head shot up at the building and i saw multiple shadow spheres being shot at everyone!

I jumped out of the bush and charged after the building. The fire looked like it has died down and I stopped in the parking lot and a sphere aimed at me. Clover jumped at me and tackled me, We both landed behind a car, Clover stood up and stood defence behind the car.

"Gloria is in there and she isn't letting the fire fighters get any closer! Nobody can get inside!"

"The fire looks safe enough for me to get inside the building, I just need a way to get inside without being noticed by Gloria"

Clover jumped. "I know! Zack take this!"

Clover handed me a CD

"What is that?!"

"It's a Pokemon Move! This should make you jump higher with your aura! Amy glitched it out for me!"

"I wrenched it away from her and it vanished in my paws.

I got out from behind the car and approached the building. Survivors screamed in terror as the shadow spheres smashed into the pavement of the parking lot.

I slowly got closer to the building. My paws lit up with aura and i jumped. I jumped into a window on the fifth floor. I glared around the halls of the hotel, some fire was in there but it was enough for me to walk around. I looked around the hall, The hall led to a two door. I then saw something, it looked human shaped. I approached and saw a burned human corpse sitting on the wall. I jumped.

"Sorry human... that's how life works..." i said.

I looked around, I heard demonic laughter coming from the door.

I raced to a double doors. A big long burned plank was blocking the way, I grabbed it and lifted it out of the way. I still heard Gloria's demonic Zoroark laughter. The fire was still calm. I heard Gloria laughing. I stepped back and activated Bone Rush. The aura bone formed into my paws. I was ready to take down Gloria once and for all!
