Chapter 8 - Brother Fun

Amy sat on my bed. "you guys know the kid i hang out with right?"

We all said our yeses, "We'll... he asked me something nuts, he wanted me to make him real life Pokemon, sounds weird but i was glad to help him"

"and your "friend" indicates Zack's transformation" claimed Clover.

"No... When I was working on what to do for him I thought I would glitch out certain Pokémon chunks and convert it into DNA and create living Pokémon creatures for him... It was beyond my skills but I didn't want to disappoint the guy... so I did my best..."

"That explains the Nintendo DS on the table" said Jake.

"Yep" said Amy. "A few weeks ago I was testing the DNA on different molecules, I added the DNA into the molecule and everything seemed fine... for about five seconds until I noticed that the DNA was changing the molecule! I knew that I couldn't give this to him without turning him into a freak! So I hid it away..."

"What about the Mega stones?" questioned Clara

"those were just a test to see if I was able to glitch out certain items from the game"

"How do we know if you're telling the truth?" I asked

Amy walked over to the table and grabbed her notebook and opened it to the page she was writing on when I was on the roof. She read out her notebook.

"Dear Diary: Something strange has happened today... My brother Zack... Somehow got ahold of the DNA causing him to turn into a Pokémon, the thing is he never knew about the curtain so I don't know how he got to it, I noticed that the syringe was gone so I knew someone stole it... along with my amulet but it couldn't have been one of my family members... I've been feeling guilty lately because I knew some of this was my fault... It might be impossible to turn Zack back to normal... Good Night Diary..."

I grabbed the notebook out of her hand and read it in my head, every word she said was on the notebook, she wasn't lying.

Jake's eyes began to fill with tears. "do you think you can change Zack back to normal?" asked Clover.

"Well... Like my diary said it will be impossible because the Lucario DNA changed his DNA... at this point... no..." she said with an upset look.

Jake then busted out the door crying and down the stairs. "Jake wait!" I shouted.

We all looked at each other confused and worried, we then raced after him and met up with him laying front first on the couch crying and mom sitting on the couch with him rubbing his back.

"He told me what happened... Amy you were messing with DNA?" said Mom.

"Not a certain DNA but, DNA not from this universe" she answered.

"we'll have a talk about that later..."

I looked down at the floor to find his Fox plush laying on the living room floor. I picked it up and looked at it in the eyes, giving me a cute little smile with its eyepatch. I walked over to Jake no longer crying but sniffling still front face. I laid the plush in his arms but he didn't seem to noticed. We all walked into different rooms. Mom stayed with Jake.

"Alright sweetie I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything" she said softly and got up into the kitchen.

Jake laid silent until he squeezed his plush in his arms. "Don't worry Zack... You won't be the only one..." he said to himself.

Time passed and Jake was upstairs being quite for some odd reason when I walked into the room to talk to him. "Hey Jake I want to talk to you about... what the?!"
