Aaliyah's POV
It was the end of the day and Andre and I were walking outside when he told me

"So Nikki asked me to go over her house today"

I looked straight ahead and continued walking and said "Oh she did? What for?."

"Well we have this test coming up in math and she just wanted a person to study with"

"And you said yes?" I said as I looked up at him

"I said I'd let her know I wanted to make sure it was cool with you." He put his arm around my shoulder at the end of his sentence

"Well should I have a reason not to be cool with it?" My eyebrow raised as I said that

He replied with a simple "No"

We stopped walking once we reached the front of the school then I turned to face him "Alright then but anyway I have to get going so I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah I'll text you later"

I kissed his cheek then left with Gio to go home while he went over to Nikki

//Nikki's house//

Andres POV
We greeted her parents to let them know we were here then went upstairs to her room

I sat on her bed and took out my notebook then she sat beside me and said "So how are things with you and Aaliyah?"

I opened up my notebook to an empty page and responded "It's pretty good"

"Oh that's good for you guys. Uh anyway what do you wanna start with."  She said changing the subject

"Something easy you know I hate math." I chuckled after I said that

Nikki's POV
I drew a parabola on a graph then showed it to him "Which direction does this open??

"Uh down?" He said as if it were obvious

"You're an idiot" I laughed as I said that then he looked at me like he was offended

He whisper-yelled back to me "I AM NOT"

"Yes you are that opens up not down"

"Well how was I supposed to know that!"

"I thought it was the easiest thing on there?"

He rolled his eyes and said "Shut up"

I smiled at him and said "I missed this"

"Missed what?" He said confused

"Us hanging out you're always too busy now." I shrugged down in my seat but still looked at him

"Yeah I know but it's better if we don't hang out."

I knew what he meant by that but I asked "How come?"

He sighed then responded "It's just harder we have too much history."

I could tell he was getting uncomfortable with the today so I said "Andre can I tell you something"

He responded calmly "What is it?"
