//Thursday Evening//

Third persons POV

Aaliyah and Jenelle were on FaceTime when Aaliyah's mom came into her room from the hospital.

"Hey Jenelle let me call you back" Aaliyah said before hanging up then looking over to her mom and saying "Hi mom what's up?"

"I just wanted to come see how you were." She said with her voice full of despair

"Oh I'm fine how's Grandpa" Aaliyah said as she sat up in her bed

Aaliyah's mom took a seat beside her and took a death breath then said "Well he passed." She looked down and a tear streamed down her face

Aaliyah didn't say anything she pulled her mom into a long hug while trying to hold back her tears. She didn't like crying around people plus she wanted to show her mom that everything was okay.

After a while Aaliyah pulled away and said "Have you told Mikey."

Her mom nodded then said "He's not talking to anyone."

"He'll be okay don't worry about him I'll take care of it ."

"I love you both so much." Said Aaliyah's mom

Aaliyah fake smiled then kissed her moms cheek and said "We love you too."

Her mom got up and left the room closing the door behind me. Once Aaliyah knew she was far enough she let the tears stream down her face. She buried her face into her pillow cried silently.

Gios POV
I was about to get on broadcast when I got a call from Aaliyah. I picked up immediately and said "Aaliyah I'm so glad you called I'm so sorry I regret everything I should've told you but I just didn't know what to do and I know how happy you were and..."

She cut me off and said "Gio I don't care about that anymore but can you come here I need someone." She was sniffling in between her words and I knew she had been crying

"Aaliyah is everything okay what's wrong."

"I'll tell you later I just need you here with me. I mean I understand if your busy and everything but if you can come.." Her voice trailed off at the end then I said
"No No it's fine I'll be there in 5."

She hung up the phone then I grabbed my keys and told my parents I was going out then ran out the door to go to Aaliyah's house.

//Skip to when he got there//

I knocked on the front door and as I was about to knock again Aaliyah's dad opened the door and said "Gio? What are you doing here"

I looked toward the stairs and said "Aaliyah called me she said she needed me I have to see her."

Her dad turned his head and looked at her mom then nodded and moved out the way so I could go upstairs."

I said thank you before going inside and running upstairs to Aaliyah's room. I knocked on her door and heard a muffled "come in." I opened the door and saw Aaliyah laying in her bed face down.

I walked over and sat on the edge her bed bed then said "Why are you crying

She turned to face me then said "I'm sorry."

I looked down at her and said "for what?"

She looked up at me with her cheeks stained with tears and with her watery red eyes and said "For everything I shouldn't have gotten upset with you I know you were just trying to look out for me and I overreacted. I'm sorry."

"It's mostly my fault I should've told you. It would've been better if I told you instead of you finding out the way you did."

She sat up against the board of her bed then looked at me and said "I don't like not talking to you."

"Then let's never not talk again."

She nodded then said "My grandpa passed away today."

She looked down and was playing with her fingers so I grabbed her hand and said "oh I'm so sorry I know how close you guys were"

She looked at our hands and said "promise me you'll never leave me I don't like losing people"

"I'll always be here for you you're not losing me or anyone else." I leaned in and was about to kiss her but she turned her head to the side and said "Um I'll see you tomorrow?"

I could tell me face was turning red so I nodded then ran out her door past her parents and left.

Third persons POV
Gio went outside and got in his car then quickly pulled out his phone and called Logan.

Logan answered and said "Hey Gio why the fuck haven't you gone live"

Gio was panicking and said "Bro help me I don't know what to do"

"Wait what happened?" Logan asked concerned

Gio: "It's Aaliyah..... I almost kissed her."

Logan: "That's good right? I mean you've liked her for like 3 years it's about time."

Gio: "No not good she completely rejected me it was soo embarrassing."

Logan: "Chill out its okay it was probably one of those in the moment things."

Gio: "Yeah you're right it was just in the moment"

I repeated those words in my head to remind me then said "Alright thanks bro I'll talk to you later"

We said our goodbyes then we hang up and I started my car then drive home

//The next day//

Aaliyah's POV

Gio and I barely talked on our way to school which was strange since usually we can't shut up but something was different this time.

We got to class early so while everyone was in class waiting I pulled Gio into the hallway then looked at him and said "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Why are you asking?" He said with an attitude

I was taken back by his response since he's usually never mad but I said." Well you haven't talked to me all day and when I tried talking to you you ignored me. You didn't even give me your daily insult you've never missed a day of that."

"Sorry I guess I'm just not in the mood." He pushed passed me after dating that then walked back into the classroom. I rolled my eyes and mumbled "someone's on their man period." Then walked in after him.

Sorry this took forever to get up but updates will be a little slow until I can get everything in my life calmed down and fix my schedule for everything.

Some time soon I'm hoping I can unpublish this and edit the whole thing cause it kinda sucks right now and I'm sure my grammar is 😁

But anyway I have a bunch of math homework to do that I don't understand but oh well bye 🤕
