Gios POV
Aaliyah's been ignoring me all day and I don't know why. She didn't text me this morning we didn't walk together this morning and in class she barely even looked at me when I tried to talk to her.

We were in last period and she sat in front of me so I poked her back with my pencil eraser and whispered "Aaliyah"

She didn't turn around so I did it again and she flipped me off. Ouch. What got into her.

I ripped out a page of my notebook and wrote "What's wrong :(." Then crumpled it up and threw it at her back

The paper fell on the floor so I whispered her name one more time but this time the teacher heard and said "Mr.Valencia! Is there a reason your interrupting my class?"

(Don't remember what class they had last period so let's just say it's history)

I stood up and said "yes actually you see the problem is all these historic things are well historic. They're in the past and I personally don't see the need to be learning about anything that's happened before 2000 Gio"

"Just sit down and pay attention"

I sat back down and mumbled "will do sir"

I ripped out another paper from my notebook and wrote "talk to me bbg :("

I threw the paper in front of her and it landed on her desk. I saw her open it then write something down. She threw it over her back then I picked it up off the floor and read "Don't call me that. Only my friends call me that and talk about what?"

Confused I wrote back "So we're not friends? Tf did I do?" Then handed it to her under the table

A few minutes later it came back to me. I opened it and read "You knew Andre was cheating on me and you didn't tell me what kind of friend does that?"

I finished reading it then the bell rang. Aaliyah as always was one of the first out so I quickly packed up and ran after her.

She was all the way outside by the time I caught up to her then we walked side by side.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you I should've but it was hard for me I didn't wanna see you get hurt"

She was walking fast and in front of me then said "Well I got hurt anyway so obviously that didn't work."

I grabbed her arm then she turned around and I said "Ok I'm sorry you know I didn't mean to"

"Whatever I'll get over it but for now I don't wanna talk to you. You're my bestfriend I tell you everything I just thought it was the same for you." She said

"Well at least let me walk you home."

She pulled her arm away and said "No thanks. I gotta get my brother, bye Gio."

//Later//

Aaliyahs POV
I walked down to my kitchen where my mom was and asked her if she could take Jenelle, Cassie and I to the mall

"Have you finishedall your homework?" She asked

"Did it in class." I replied quickly

"Are their parents okay with it"

I responded "I haven't asked them yet I wanted to make sure you'd say yes first."

She said "Well go ask then I'll let you know"

I ran upstairs and scrolled for our group chat with just the three of us. When I found it I said

Aaliyah: Hey are you guys busy rn??

Cassie: Just finishing up some homework

Jenelle: I don't do my homework so nope why??

Aaliyah: I was gonna ask if you wanted to go to the mall w/ me I need a break from this boy drama😩

Jenelle: How are we getting there?

Aaliyah: My mom she'll be there with her sister

Cassie: I can most likely go pick me up??

Jenelle: I can go I'll meet you at your house

Aaliyah: bless up 🙏🏾 see you soon

I went back downstairs and told my mom they could go then we got ready to leave.

//At the mall//

My mom and aunt separated from us when we went to forever 21.

We walked in and I looked around the store then together we walked to a giant rack with stuff on sale.

We were looking through all the cluttered clothes when Cassie asked "So how have you been since everything?"

I kept looking through the clothes even though she was looking at me and said "Eh it's whatever I'm over it I don't need to cry over people like that."

"What about with Gio? Are you gonna forgive him?"

I sighed then said "There's really nothing to forgive I'm not even mad it's more of I'm disappointed."

Cassie threw a pair of jeans at me then said "Just talk to him the rest of the boys knew too but your not mad at them and try that on"

I looked at them the jeans then put them away since I didn't want them and said "Yeah but I don't know I guess I expected more from Gio."

"Well maybe after you forgive him Giliyah Could because official"

I stared at Jenelle after she said that then said "Ew what the hell is a Giliyah? And no that's not happening we already talked about that."

"Well it's not my fault your names don't go together and that was like 3 years ago you guys are older now and I always thought he was wayyy better for you than Andre."

"It doesn't matter we don't like each other anymore we're just friends."

"Fine but you owe me 20 dollars the day you guys date."

"I'll give you 100 doesn't matter it won't happen."

After about half an hour of looking around we paid then left and went to H&M, Aeropostale, Pink, and Rue 21.

At the end we met at the foodcourt with my mom to eat then went home.

Sorry for the long wait but school started 3 days ago for me and I'm already stressing 😩

I'm gonna make my updates as often as possible but definitely on weekends there will be at least 2 then there will be another sometime during the week. Btw please tell me if you see any mistakes so I can go back and fix them.

This fanfic is growing so fast omg 😳 I swear the other day I just had like 75 reads and now I'm almost at 400 thank you 😭💘
