Aaliyah's POV

I sat in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to get back to us about Gio. We'd all been there for an hour and where all tired.  I was getting a bunch of calls and texts from my parents who probably are way over worried about me.

A couple minutes later a nurse came out and said "Parents of Giovanny Valencia" the tour managers went up along with Chris and I and they said "His parents aren't here at the moment but we're his guardians for now" the doctor nodded then said "Giovanny has a minor concussion, it's still serious but he will be okay. We took an X-Ray and it looks like he hit his forehead on something right there that caused his head to bleed then he must've hit the floor pretty hard." he said while showing us the x-Ray

I pushed through the tour managers and said "Can we go see him?"

"Yes but we just gave him pain reliever so he should be sleeping soon." He said holding his clipboard to his chest

I nodded and said thank you then speed walked to the room Gio was in along with Jenelle, Chris, Logan, and Brandon. We couldn't all fit in the room at once so us five went first.

When we got to his room I told everyone to be quiet in case he was asleep then opened the door slowly and as quietly as possible. Gio was just barely awake and said "hi everyone." We said all said "hi Gio" in sync then walked over to his bed and surrounded him. I pulled up a chair beside him and said "how are you feeling?"

He answered "tired"

Chris put his hand on my shoulder and stood behind me then said "we just wanted to check up on you before we left we feel awful about what happened."

"It's not any of your faults I should've been more careful but I'm fine other than my head that's killing me." He said as he held on to his head

"Yeah that's what a concussion does." Said Brandon

I let everyone finish talking to him then said "I talked to your parents they're on their way they should be here within the next hour and everyone else from tour is coming tomorrow."

He nodded then Logan said "alright guys let's let him get some rest we can come back tomorrow."

I stood up from my seat and said "I'm gonna stay"

They all looked at me then Chris said "you can't you haven't eaten in hours and it's already late you should get home."

"No. I want to stay here with Gio we can't just leave him alone." I said gesturing towards him

"I'll be fine here alone he's right Aaliyah you should go."

I didn't say anything I just sat down in the chair and crossed me arms. They couldn't force me to leave unless they were the doctor.

Chris sighed then sat in the couch chair then looked at me and said "Fine, we're staying" then looked at everyone else and said "You guys can go we'll be fine"

And with that everyone said there goodbyes then left.

I looked over at Gio and held his hand then sighed and said to myself "Please get better quickly I love you."

I laid my head down beside Gio then slowly drifted off to sleep holding his hand.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of shuffling. I was no longer next to Gio I was on a sofa chair and next to a table across from Gio. I looked up and saw Chris. He smiled at me and said "Goodmorning I'm not sure what you like but I bought food." He said holding up 2 dunkin donuts bags and 1 box.

"I like everything that's edible but thank you Chris." I said grabbing one bag from him and opening it to find a coffee cake muffin. "My favorite, how'd you know?"

"I didn't, that's my favorite too"

"Oh, then we'll split it." I said grabbing the plastic knife from the bag. I cut the muffin down the middle and gave Chris 1/2 then ate the other.

Chris sat across the table from me then we both looked at Gio. I finished eating my half of the muffin then stood up grabbed my phone and said "I'm going to the bathroom." He said okay then I left.

Third persons POV
Aaliyah closed the door behind her then walked down to the bathroom and leaned her back against the wall and dialed her moms number. After a few short rings Aaliyah's mom answered and said "Hi baby how is everything?" Aaliyah had left her parents without much warning so she expected a worse response from them and said "Hi mom? Everything's fine but you're not yelling at me...how come?"

"We told you we were gonna be less strict on you plus we know how important Gio is to you but when are you coming home?"

"I'll be back in a few hours I'm just waiting for Gio to wake up then I'll go and comeback tonight."

"Okay then we'll talk later love"

They said their goodbyes then Aaliyah walked inside the bathroom to freshen up as much as she could.

Gios POV
I woke up to see my parents, Christopher, and a few cousins but no Aaliyah. Did she leave? I thought

"Giovanny are you ok?" My mom said snapping me out of my thoughts

I nodded then my dad said "we got here last night but we didn't want to wake you up so we slept in the waiting room."

"Oh thanks guys." I hugged my parents and my baby cousins then turned to Christopher and said "How did you sleep in here?"

"I didn't get to sleep that long I stayed up until Aaliyah fell asleep and she took forever to fall asleep" he said

"Oh where is she?" I asked

"Bathroom" Chris said sounding tired

"Can someone get her I want to see her"

My mom nodded then left the room to go find Aaliyah.

Aaliyah's POV
I was waking back from the bathroom when I saw Gios mom down the hall.

"Aaliyah it's so good to see you thank you for staying with Gio all night." She greeted me

When she got close enough I hugged her and said "It was no problem really and it's nice to see you too, when did you get here?"

We walked together towards Gios room and she said "we got here yesterday but everyone was asleep so we slept in the waiting room"

"Ohh who's we?"

"My husband and I and a few cousins." She paused in front of Gios door and said "Also Gios awake he was asking for you."

I said okay then she walked in with me behind her

This is the first time I've had nothing to say at the end..... But I hope you liked this ☺️

Btw I'm thinking of changing the title of this book so any suggestions?
