3 months later

Gios POV

Today was the day. It was time for me to tell Aaliyah how I felt. Over April break the two of us spent a lot of time together. So much time, that is was almost unusual if we didn't see each other. Everyday that we were together my feelings got stronger, to the point were it was impossible to keep it to myself. I wanted her. In more ways than one. I texted her to see if she wanted to meet up before school.

Morning drive ? I need to get out my house and I wanna tell you something be ready by 9:30 I'm picking you up.

Gotchu I'll be ready

I responded to her text then got up to get ready to meet Aaliyah

Aaliyah's POV
After I got Gios text I hopped in the shower, changed then headed downstairs to see my mom, dad, and brother sitting down for breakfast.

Goodmorning love, you hungry we made breakfast. My mom said standing at the stove.

I walked over to my brother playing with his curly hair and said "No I'm actually going out to with Gio in a couple minutes I'll pick something up on my way"

"Hey when you get back do you think we could go to the park near grandmas old house like we used to when we were younger?" My brother asked. "I would but I can't Gio and I were gonna go to the mall after then chill at his house." I replied

With a disappointed look on his face he said oh then returned back to eating his food.

You've been spending an awful amount of time with Gio, you guys still just friends?" My mom said looking at me with a smirk on her face

At that moment I noticed my dad and brothers head turn to look in my directed and I smiled and said "Just friends. We just really enjoy each other's company that's all"

I heard her mumble "If you say so" under her breath and as I was about to respond there was a ring at the doorbell.

I got it I said before walking to open the door to reveal Gio. My face lit up when I saw him and I hugged him then said come in then closed the door behind him.

I followed him to the kitchen and watched as he greeted everyone. When Mikey saw him he looked up from his plate then got up and walked upstairs

Gio held his hand out and said hey bud as Mikey approached him, but he just walked past him and headed upstairs.

"He's probably just in one of his moods, don't worry about it" I said reassuring Gio

"Let me go check on him maybe he needs a guy to guy conversation you know?"

"Yeah go ahead whatever" I said laughing at Gios sarcasm

Gios POV

I went upstairs to enter I remembered Mikey's room was. The door was closed and locked so I knocked and said "Hey Mikey, can you open the door for me?" I heard shuffling through the door and soon enough the door swung open to show an angry looking Mikey.

"I don't want to talk to you." He scowled

As he was about to close the door I stuck my hand in the way stopping it "Come on you can always talk to me I'm like an older brother to you remember?"

"Ok well I take that back, you're not my brother and you're definitely not my friend"

Taken back by what he said I looked down at him and said "Did I do something wrong?"

He walked back into his room and sat on a chair playing 2k then said "Yeah, you stole my sister from me can you leave now"

I followed him into his room leaving a small creak in the door behind me and stood beside him and said "what do you mean? she's right downstairs."

He paused his game and said "yeah but that barely happens anymore, as soon as she wakes up she goes out somewhere with you then comes home at night. I don't have a sister anymore she cares more about you than her own brother."

"You know that's not true but I get it you miss your sister I'll fall back a little bit I'm sorry."

"Whatever. Close the door on your way out" he responded with his voice full of dissatisfaction

Without another word I left his room and went back downstairs to meet Aaliyah and her parents.

"Everything alright?" Aaliyah asked walking up to me

"Yeah you ready to go?" I asked. Aaliyah nodded then said goodbye to her parents and together we left.

So as you can see I've decided to finish this book. There's not gonna be a whole lot left though maybe about 3-4 chapters but I'm thinking about a sequel? Idk don't take my word on it. This chapter felt short, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

Also who's POV would you like me to write in? I feel like I always only write in Gio or Aaliyah's POV and I wanna change it up a little bit

Alright I'm just gonna publish this chapter because I've kept y'all waiting for wayyyy to long but I'm gonna finish typing the book and publish it all at once after this chapter unless you guys want otherwise?
