Third persons POV
Andre could feel an awkward silence building that he wanted to avoid it

"So you're all going on Friday?"asked Andre

Nod.
That's what they all did. That's it

Aaliyah changed the conversation so it wouldn't be as quiet

"So how was the first day for you guys?"

They talked about their least favorite teachers until the bell rang, indicating that it was time to go to class.

(Skipping to the end of the day bc more classes)

Aaliyah's POV
I was sitting next to Gio in our last class hopelessly staring at the clock waiting for the bell to ring

At 3:00 the bell rang. I was the first one out the classroom but I had to wait for Gio who was always last.

When Gio came out we started walking to our lockers and I said "why are you always the last one out especially for our last class"

Gio chucked then said "Well I can't really rush I have no energy left in me by the end on the day"

"Yeah that's understandable but anyway when we're walking back can we stop by In n Out I want fries"

(I don't live in California and I know nothing about the In N Out menu so just bear with me)

I closed my locker then leaned against it and looked up at Gio since he was taller than me

Gio closed his locker soon after then looked back at me

"Is there a time that you don't want fries?"

I looked up at the ceiling pretending to think then answered "Nope now will you go with me"

"Do you realize how far In N Out is from here"

"Yeah that's gonna be pretty hard for you with my extra weight on your back" I gave his back a small pat on the back as I said that

"Yeah you're funny. I'm not going"

I rolled my eyes then together we both walked outside. Gio went to the group while I went over to Andre.

When I got to Andre I came up behind him and covered his eyes "Guess who"

Andre smiled then said "Umm is it Beyoncé!"

I let go then Andre turned around and I said "NO! It's me"

"Yeah I know you're the only one that does that"

"Well sorryyyy for trying to be cute" I playfully rolling her eyes

Andre looked down at me and said "You don't have to try you're already cute"

I blushed a little when he said that but I wasn't really the gushy type so I just chuckled and said "Ew we sound like one of those lovey dovey couples"

"Yeah but I meant what I said"

"Thank you but anyways I just wanted to see you and say bye before I left to go home"
