I sipped on my hot cocoa, while wrapped in a blanket. The crew had found us, and after half an hour of climbing, we were out. I shivered in the blanket, taking another sip. Carson ran down the stairs carrying a first aid kid in his hands. He kneeled down and took out a bandage wrap.
Awe, how sweet.
"Thanks Carson." I smiled, while he started wrapping my wound. The bleeding has stopped, but it was still stinging like a bitch.
"Anytime. What happened anyway?" He asking curiously, his eyebrows knit together in confusion.
"It was a snake bite. If it weren't for Nathan, I could've died." I chuckled a bit, giving Nathan a smile from the opposite couch. His lips lifted into a soft smile, slightly showing a smirk. He nodded to say 'your welcome'.
"Done." Carson stood up, grinning at me. I opened my arms up to hug him 'thank you'.
"Lunch is ready!!" Kaylee exclaimed from the kitchen. The guys and girls started pouring down from upstairs.
"Let's get something to eat, yeah?" Carson picked me up bridal style, making me laugh. He set me down on the dining table, where the food was.
"Thanks." I smiled, showing off my dimples. They had made a panini for everyone along with potato chips on the side. We dug into the food, grabbing whatever we wanted.
"Nice cooking skills, Kaylee and London!" Lance acknowledged while taking another bite of his sandwich. "Mhms" went around the table.
"How did you two manage to fall down the waterfall." Colin laughed at Nathan and I. I sent him a death glare, which he didn't seem to care about because he sent me a mocking smile. I rolled my eyes at my doofus brother.
"I lost my paddle and I had to get it somehow." I shrugged, popping a chip into my mouth.
"You guys probably banged down there too, huh?" Lance joked. I shot him a glare as well.
"Not funny, Lance."
(A/N I'll insert a picture of Lance above.)
"It's kinda funny." Dillon chuckled along with the rest. I ate my sandwich in silence as they discussed what they were doing for the rest of the day. I couldn't go with an injured leg.
"We can just chill around the lake on our pontoon and floaties. Anyone who wants to canoe or paddle board can do that." They agreed on that.
"Sounds like a plan." Nick finished. They started going upstairs to change.
"Hey, lets go." Carson tapped my shoulder.
"I can't go,, my leg hurts. Have fun though." I softly smiled.
"Awe come on. It'll be fun. You can just float around. I'll stick with you." I refused. I didn't want to interfere with his fun.
"I'll go but you don't have to come with me, go have fun." I nodded.
