"Do you want to go out to eat?" Antoine asked as the two slid into Antoine's car and the two of them left the Syndicate tower and into the street. "Sure I don't mind." Eva slightly slumped down in the leather seat checking her phone for new messages and emails, she was surprised her boss allowed her to continue to work in Steelport, even though she really didn't have a say. If it's one thing Eva knew about gangsters, it's never to get on their bad side or rub them the wrong way, with Philipe she could tell that he was a much more conservative boss but he meant business. Brandon sent her occasional text messages and called her a few times to check in, although New York was her temporary home as she and Brandon are originally from Orlando, she missed it. Steelport may be sinful but there is some beauty under there.
Antoine parked alongside the curb and he and Eva walked inside of a nice Italian restaurant, they went inside and got a private booth. "We need to talk." Antoine removed his sunglasses exposing his cloudy gray eyes. "I figured as much." Eva crossed her legs sitting upright.
"We're going to be dealing with some retaliation from the Saints, so always be strapped and think twice about trusting them." Eva nodded as her eyes shifted up and down gazing around the room. "I know you're still thinking about joining them, Eva." Eva shrugged off his comment.
"What? No, I'm not." She chuckled nervously as she tried to avoid Antoine's glare. "Yes you are, I can see it in your eyes, I see how you look at them especially at that Johnny Gat." Antoine playfully poked her shoulder, Eva blushed slightly. "He's good-looking! How can you not stare at him?" Eva and Antoine laughed "You don't think I'm handsome?" Antoine smirked devilishly.
Eva smiled as she bit down on a breadstick "Of course, you have that French suave." Antoine chuckled suggestively.

After dinner, Antoine and Eva drove around Steelport until we arrived back at "Powder". "What are we doing back here?" Eva asked as she and Antoine unlocked a couple of crates. "You need to be strapped at all times, I'm giving you some grade A weapons so you won't be empty-handed, just in case you come in contact with the Saints or any other opponent. "Give me the gun you have now," Antoine ordered as he tossed aside the elementary pistol, he led Eva deeper in the shop as the two started to look through the inventory and picked out better weapons.
Later on that night Antoine dropped Eva back to her apartment and went home. Eva kicked off her black pumps and walked across the cold tile floor of the kitchen, she grabbed a Cola, sat on the couch and switched on the tv. She looked around her apartment in awe at she never thought that she would be living in such a glamorous space. A jazzy ringtone interrupted her gaze as she picked up her phone.
"Hello," Eva answered.
"Good evening Miss Roman." Philipe's greeted.
Eva sat up with a jolt as she muted the tv. "Uh, good evening Mr.Loren is there something wrong?" Eva got up and slipped back into her pumps.
"Not at the moment, I've heard that you're a good combatant from what Antoine boasted about, but I need to see that for myself before I let you out for more intense missions." Philipe elaborated.
"Intense missions?" Eva replied puzzled.
"Yes such as dealing other rival gangs, the police, and other obstacles. But not to worry my dear I'll make sure you are in good care, your assessment is tomorrow at 12:00, Viola and Kiki will pick you up.
"Okay, Mr. Loren."
"Oh and you might want to bring a change of clothes, things could get messy." Philipe hung up, leaving Eva astounded and puzzled.
"What is this, boot camp? Well, I suppose I'll need the training if I don't want to get killed out here, Steelport is nothing like Manhattan or Orlando." Eva hopped into the shower and got into bed, she switched on the tv and watched a couple of episodes of Shaundi's dating show until she fell asleep.

"Guns and bullets raining down from the sky
the body count at an all-time high
victims pile the streets from a drive-by."
"Whisked away from the big city and transported into sin city,
new challenges await, new missions to partake."
"Under control, under the ringleader, wondering if I can cross the meter...
Hoping, waiting, and plotting my escape to freedom..."
"Only a Saint would be able to save me...only a Saint."
