As we turned the last corner of the road, we were finally on institute lane. He immediately pulled up outside my apparent, and in a fluster he jumped out the car and hurried round to help me out.
"We have arrived Mr.Bane." He smirked as he cradled me in his arms from out the car. He slammed the door with his foot and carried me up the steps of my apparent.
"Magnus, where are your keys" he bent down and placed me against the frame of my door staying crouched to my level.

"They're in my front pocket of my blazer" I tilted my head emphasising which pocket I was talking about. His warm hands reached into my pocket taking out my keys. In minutes he opened the door and stared in in amazement. Yes I have to admit, my apartment is quite glamorous if I may say so myself.
A small 'wow' fell out of his mouth as he bent down to pick me up again. As expected, he carried me in closing the door behind him.
"If you don't mind, could you take me to my bedroom?" Slightly embarrassed by the question, he nodded anyway as I directed him to it.
He seemed to be totally amazed by my room, he just kept staring around like a child in a sweet shop. Soon enough he laid me down on my four post velvet bed, and stared intensely in my eyes.
"Thanks a lot Alec, I don't know what I would of done if you hadn't of been so kind to stop and take home." I placed my hand on his, he flinched at the touch but a small smile spread in the corner of his face.
"Well it's not all the time I get to take a handsome stranger home." He stood up as his hand slid out of touch.
"Alec..... I have cuts and bruises all over my face.... Handsome? Really?" I blushed at the thought.
" yeah uh... Anyway do you have a first aid kit? I know a bit on mending some wounds." I was stunned how kind he was, he took me home and is now willing to help me clean up.
"Alec please, you've done so much I can't possibl-" I was stopped mid sentence.
"Magnus please, I've come this far. I might as well, I'm in no rush."
"If you insist. It's just under the sink in the bathroom." I pointed to the door that was connected to my bedroom to the left of me. With a nod he entered the bathroom leaving the door open a few inches.

At this moment I realise. What was I thinking? Yes a beautiful stranger comes and saves me in my time of need, but he could of murdered me.... He could of been a mad man even! But to be honest I really could care less, he's one like no other man I have ever met.

He appeared back out of the bathroom with the first aid kit in hand. Perched on the edge of the bed he leaned in close to my face, dabbing a piece of cotton wool on the cut above my brow. "So. Magnus, you still haven't told me what on earth you were doing there. The shadow world night club is clearly not the club you thought it was." His eyebrows were raised as he threw the wool away. I took a deep breath and began to explain myself.
" well.... I had just got a bonus from my job and I thought I would treat myself to a night out. Clearly I had not been to the shadow world before and believed it to be uh..... A gay bar." I chuckled a little bit with embarrassment.
"And that's when the two men jumped me, they pretended to be security and thought it was funny that I thought it was a bar. So..... They took advantage of the situation and beat me up." I felt Alec stop dabbing the wool on my face.

"Magnus... I'm sorry that that happened to you. And I can tell you now that it's not a gay bar." Sarcasm with clear in his voice. "It's a fight club Magnus... I work there on most days, people bet on my fights and I get money if I win. It's the only way I can get cash." He was red faced as he spoke.
"Well at least I know now." I stuttered, as the sting of the wool pressed against more of my cuts became a bit more unbearable.
"I hope you've learned your lesson Mr.Bane!" He sniggered.

A man with humour and kindness... How can this get any better?
