My search had taken me everywhere these past years. I'd been here and there, I'd also been to Unova and back. I was searching, for my Mother of course.
I never gave up hope that she was still alive.
So far I'd been through Hoenn, Johto, Sinnoh and most recently, Unova. And now, I'd finally plucked up the courage to go back to my home in Kanto, 'Pallet Town'. With every new region, I had changed Pokemon, just so the journey wasn't as boring as it could have been.
Back to where the Pidgeys grow, to where my first Pokeball was flung, Back to where it had all began.
Of course, I wasn't alone. My younger sister Bonnie was becoming a strong Pokemon Trainer - it was all she had wanted to do after our father died. I was also accompanied by my friend Holly, whom I'd met on my travels through Unova.
She had a special gift which she shared with her Riolu - the two of them could communicate through each other's aura.
I had chosen to take a cruise all the way from Unova through to Kanto. The good old S.S. Anne, ah, I remember my first trip when I started my journeys. I had personally asked the captain to take us to Pallet Town as soon as the passengers got off at Viridian City, it would only be right to start the next leg of my travels from the beginning.
Bonnie was honing her skills by battling others aboard the ship whilst I watched the ocean and the regions as we gently sailed past. As we circled round the beautiful Orange Islands, I began to feel at home.
Holly and Riolu walked through the door and interrupted my daydream. "Hello! Anyone home?" She called as she closed the door behind her.
"M-Huh?" I replied in a daze. I rubbed my eyes and turned to find Riolu eyeing me. A few moments later, Holly nodded and said "Riolu says you don't seem very happy. What's wrong?"
I took a glance out of the window and saw the familiar look of the seas around Pallet Town. I smiled and said "We'll talk about it later. Now, get Bonnie and tell her to come in here."
Holly stared at me quizzically. "Really? You know she doesn't like being bossed around! What should I say if she refuses to move?"
I pointed towards the window and said:
"Tell her that we're home."
