So this morning I walked downstairs after my usual routine of saving toast and drinking water I stood up from the table and walked towards the TV obviously they were talking about the huge fire at the military base and I didn't know what to do at all. I went outside to have a good look at the sky, unfortunately it was smoky as always. This weird man was lurking behind a tree and staring at me, he looked so familiar, it was the guy that tapped our car. I wonder what he was doing here.
"Hey, what you doing?" I asked.
He immediately ran off and down the street, it was like he was afraid of something. I decided to follow him into the town. He ran off pretty fast so I wasn't fast enough without my bike. White flashes of lightning flew here and there across the sky. There was a loud sound of far-away rumbling. A cold wind wandered on the grass, pushes the trees, and moves rubbish. I chased the man through the town and down the hill.
"Where is this man going?" I asked myself. Everyone outside was preoccupied with the approaching storm and take in their homes."Who are you ?" I shouted"Stop following me," he answered. The man ran behind the houses and there found a bike of his own; red and black and definitly faster than mine."Move!" the man shouted. The man turns around the corner and onto the main road, and my happy face just went to an angry one, why is he riding away if he hasn't done anything?
"Someone stop him!" I shout. A man stands in front of him and I jump off of the bike and I punch him off of the bike. "Why did you run away from me?" I asked with authority"Who are you?" I asked.
"Who wants...to know?" he replied.
"Me." I said back.
"I'm uh...I'm your uncle, I came here because I heard there was such a big fire here and I worried about my brother." He replied
"Is that so?" I asked.
"Yes of course, now help your uncle up!" he replied.
"I stuck my hand out and he grabbed it and I helped him up. Come along, uncle, I'll show you to my mother and brother!" I said"How was it that he was my uncle? Since when?" I thought. He wanted something, but for now I have to believe him."The day has hardly begun and I've already had some trouble." I said. "Well, what else am I to do with you now? I must take you to my safe and loving home" I thought again.A guy comes out of his house and, lifting high his long legs, begins striding down the village street. He walks quickly without stopping or looking from side to side, as though he were shoved from behind or afraid of pursuit, maybe everyone in this town is weird.
We come out of the main part of the village and turn along the dusty road towards the road that our house lies on, I saw it in the distance. It is about a mile and a half away. The clouds have by now covered the sun, and soon afterwards there is not a speck of blue left in the sky. It grows dark.
Meanwhile at home...
"Honestly where on Earth is Ed?" Kent asked.
"Well last I saw of him he was outside admiring the sky. It started to get dark though. Might be a storm brewing" Mum said.
"I am here!" I said.
"Where have you been man?" Kent asked.
"Chasing this guy!" I said.
"Apparently he's our uncle." I continued.
"I am your father's brother." He said.
"But...that seems impossible, we don't even know you, Mum?" Kent said.
"This man is new to me but if he's new in town I guess we must make him welcome and let him stay here for a while." Mum said.
I don't know about this guy, but if mum trusts him I guess I'm forced to trust him.
