The police officers questioned me on what had happened, I told them everything. I told them about my family, my friends and dead relatives. I tried to tell them that I didn't kill all those people but they just put me in that prison.

This prison was on an island and surrounded by water, I didn't know how to cope with this.I was escorted to my cell and thrown inside. The guard slammed the door shut.

I turned around to examine my surroundings; a sweat started to form and gave me the chills. The room was dark, it didn't smell nice at all. As I noticed the small cloudy window close to the ceiling, my breathing started to become rapid.

I'm not gonna leave here...

I felt those words form in my mind. Clutching my arms over her chest, I started to fall to the cold, hard ground. The tears started to run down my face. I blinked the tears from my eyes so my vision could be clearer, but the room still seemed foggy and blurred to my eyes.

"You put the man who killed the criminal behind bars?" I roared as loud as I could, feeling the sharpness of my voice pulse through me and vibrate across the cold walls of my cell.

Standing up, I threw my fists against the door and punched the cold metal bars with all the strength I could gather up. I grunted with effort and just continued.

"You can't do this to me!" I howled at the door, feeling my knuckles itch with irritation and numbness. Looking down at my hands, I analysed the bruises and redness from pounding my fists.  I moved away from the door, convincing myself that no-one would ever respond.

"Would you keep in down in there?" A voice asked.

"It's not all that bad here, you'll soon get used to it." He continued.

"It is bad here, my cell stinks and I'm not even supposed to be in here." I said.

"Oh, you were put in here because there were no witnesses and some dead?" He asked.

"A lot dead, it wasn't me though, I only killed one guy, his name was Nicolas." I answered.

"You killed Nicolas?" He asked.

"Yes I did, but I lost my family and all of my town for it." I answered.

"But you're a hero, that guy has been from town to town terrorising all people he could find." He said.

"I thought he was only in my town." I replied.

"No, he has killed many people and he apparently had a list of towns he'd go to next." He said.

"But our town didn't have police, we had to call police from another town, he was always killing and stealing from us." I said.

"Ah, you must be from that town down by that forest, huh?" He said

"Yes...how'd yo-...."

"You seem like a nice guy, so I'll tell you, me and Nicolas used to be partners, before he was a hybrid. He did the terrorising and I notified him when there was issues with the police or if they were coming. We were good at what we did. But he betrayed me, one time when we were running away from the police he shot me in my leg and I got arrested but he got away." He said.

"But why does Nicolas do this?" I asked him.

"Probably for strength, maybe power but he mostly wanted the money." He said.

"I heard that he bribed some guy to go after the general's family and kill them in the town you say you're from." He continued.

I froze in my place, now I knew that Nicolas had payed someone to kill me and my family, I'm glad he's dead.

"He payed someone, but the only person who showed up out of....." I started. There was a long pause and I had to think about it really hard and for a long time. I was devastated.

"My uncle........" I finished.

"Wait, how do you know that Nicolas did this?" I asked.

"Well, the guy they payed to kill you was my dad." He answered

"So your dad tried to kill me?" I asked

"Yes, wait, you said you killed only Nicolas, if you only killed him what happened to my dad?" He asked

I sighed before I said it because even though I hated this man he was someone else's dad.

"Nicolas killed him, your dad shot Nicolas with a huge missile in his wing and took him out of the sky, then he was thrown back hard into a wall." I said.

"Wh-...wh-..what?, that man...ki..-ki..-...killed my dad?" He asked whilst clearly in distraught.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't control what he did but I killed Nicolas so he won't be hurting anymore people." I said.

"It's OK, you never did it, he did." He answered.

"Look, how's about I help you out by showing you around this place and we can be friends?" He asked.

"OK, but don't riots happen here and stuff like in prisons?" I asked.

"That would happen..........." he started.

"If whoever is involved wants to die." He said.

"Oh, so are we safe then?" I asked

"Yes, yes we are safe." He answered

"OK OK LADIES...TIME TO GET SOME SHUT EYE!" A guard shouted.

"See you at breakfast tomorrow, wait I never asked, what's your name?" He asked.

"Edward." I said.

"Mines Sean." He replied.

"Goodnight man, talk to you tomorrow." He said

I went onto my uncomfortable bed and I wasn't tired so I lay there and stared at the ceiling. I didn't know how I could get myself into that mess, somehow I wish that my father was here. I haven't seen him in years but I would still like to see him and maybe see my brother too. After a long think, I fell asleep on that bed longing for the morning to come.
