Autumn
I walk into my English class, sitting in my regular seat next to my best friend, Ian.

"Hey Autumn," He says with a smile.

 "Hi Ian." Ian and I have been best friends since kindergarten.

 I was staring off into space when Jacob walks in. Jacob was basically the main jock/ popular guy in our school. I really like him. But honestly who doesn't? Jacob doesn't really notice me. The only people he notices are the top 3 popular girls in our school. This happens to be Ariel, Cat, and Ari. They are like the queen bees. I happen to be best friends with the former queen bee, Loren Beech. She was ditched when Ari moved to the district.

"Autumn!!" Ian quietly yells snapping me out of my thoughts.

 "What?" I ask, still staring at Jacob.  

"Stop staring at Jacob and focus on what Mrs. Scott is writing on the board."

 "Right thanks, Ian." Ian isn't a huge fan of Jacob. He thinks of Jacob as a stupid boy who got famous for his looks. Him and his girlfriend, Ariel are internet famous.

I write down what I have to for class and then the teacher gets called down to the office. I knew at that moment that it was my chance to talk to Jacob. Ariel ditched school today and Jacob was all alone. I started to get up and make my way over to him. 

"You going to talk to Jacob No Eyebrows?" Ian asked, raising his own eyebrows at me. 

 "For the last time, his name is Jacob Sartorius. And he has eyebrows." 

"Okay fine. Then go talk to Jacob Saggytitties." 

"He doesn't have saggytitties," I say defending a guy I barely know. 

"Woah... How do you know that?" Ian asks looking a little creeped out. 

"I just know," I say as I bite my bottom lip. I was going to walk up to him when Mrs. Scott comes back. 

"Sorry class. A little family emergency."

Ian
I couldn't believe that Autumn, out of all people, liked Jacob. She is one of the most reasonable people I know. But when you ask her why she likes him she has no reason. She is the kindest, funniest, and the most amazing person I know and I guess that is why I fell for her. I have liked her since 5th grade and we are now in our 2nd year of high school, and every day I fall for her even more. No matter how hard I try I never stop falling. It hurts more now because she rubs it in my face on how much she likes Jacob. I don't know I guess I just thought she would have more sense and realize that I like her. I mean I am always there for her. I even give her little hints. 

After English was over I ran into Loren. She is our other friend.

 "Where's Autumn?" She asks me.

 "Talking to Jacob," I say as I roll my eyes.

 "UGH!! CAN'T YOU JUST ASK HER OUT ALREADY?!" Loren screams while Autumn walks out of the classroom.

 "Who are you going to ask out?" She asks curiously.

 "Oh... Nobody," I mumble as I rub the back of my neck. Loren was the only one that knows about how I feel about Autumn.

 "Oh um Ian, Can I come over after school to work on the project?" Autumn asks. 

"Sure if you promise you won't talk about Jacob the whole time," I say smirking. She lightly blushes at the mention of his name. I fake gag and she playfully shoves me. We end up turning so red because we were laughing so hard.

Autumn
On the way to Ian's house, we pass Jacob's house. I see him opening the door. 

"Hi Jacob!" I screamed across the road. 

"Hey Autumn!!" He screamed back. I almost fainted but Ian caught me. 

"He knows my name," I say with a smile from ear to ear. 

"I know your name but I guess I'm not a special as Jacob is," Ian snickers.

 "Okay we have been through this before you are my best friend. Calm down. I like Jacob. He is my high school crush. Like you don't have a crush?" I roll my eyes dramatically.

 "I do." 

 "Who?" I ask as my eyebrows raise.

Ian
"You," I mumble but she couldn't hear me. 

"What?" 

"I like Ariel." The mention of her name makes me mentally gag. I couldn't believe that was my go to. The first name that came to my mind. 

"OH MY GOSH!!!" She squeals. All I do is laugh. 

When we get to my house I grab her by the waist. She looks at me with a death stare, knowing what I was going to do next. 

"Don't you dare!!!" she squeals. I put her over my shoulder anyway. 

"Put me downnnnn!!!" She squeals as I walk up the stairs.

 "Okay," I say as I throw her on my bed. She laughs and I just look at her.

 "You like what you see?" She asks with a smirk. Obviously joking.

 "Mmmhmmm," I say. Not joking but it sounded like I was. 

"Oh... Well you gotta catch me," She says. 

"And what do I get if I catch you?" I ask.

 "Who knows," She says running off. It takes me a while but I finally catch her. 

"And what do I get for catching you?" I ask. She doesn't answer. She moves closer. Now her lips were inches from mine. Where was this going? Was she going to kiss me? I hope she does. She probably won't.
