8. Tajima and Izumi Uchiha

Shanaya POV:
We finally reached the Uchiha compound. I saw big gates along with several people standing there.

I was walking besides Izuna while Madara was walking in front of us. His raven hairs swaying to and fro.

"Shanaya" Izuna called me.

"Yes'' I said turning towards him.

"Do not expect them to welcome you wholeheartedly."

I stared at him confused.

"Look we are in the era of war. People only care about their clan and their people. It is kind of uncommon to let a stranger in."

He was straightforward towards me. But I understood that with all those war going on it would be kind of hard to trust anyone. "I understand".

"Don't worry about me and Aniki. We trust you and for the clan members you will have to gain their trust. And for you to let in he will have to take the side of your ability. But in reality he is not letting you in for your ability. There is another reason for that."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I enquired totally confused by his world.

"Nothing nothing!"

We stayed in silence for a while.

"Umm Izuna"

"Yes"

"What if I haven't discovered my ability?"

"Did you not remember we didn't know about your ability when we decided to take you with us. We discovered it later on."

"Oh yeah!" I said scratching the back of my head.

Stupid question.

He gave me a simple smile.
I looked up to see Madara walking, his dark hairs swaying to and fro. They...They looked so soft. I looked ahead to notice men and women gathered there. I swallowed nervously. I will have to gain their trust. Since I am an outsiders it will be a pain but I have to do it.

Finally we reached there. I shifted close to Izuna nervously. He chuckled.

I can already feel the stares upon me.

"Welcome back Madara sama, Izuna sama. How did the mission go?"

"It went on perfectly. It was quite easy." Madara replied. I noticed that his tone has changed. It has a hint of authority and leadership now.

"Madara, Izuna". I heard a deep voice. I looked to see that all the men shifted side to give him side giving me a clue that 'He must be very important'.

Soon he came in view. He was a middle aged man with black hair and black eyes. Well all of them have black hairs and eyes. He was wearing a Navy blue yukata just like everyone else.

"Father" Izuna said. So he is their father.

"How did the mission go. It took quite long".

"Yes it took longer than expected and the mission was a success." Madara said.

His father nodded and then his gaze landed on me.

"Who is she?" He asked.

"Oh she is Shanaya father".

"She has quite a strong chakra".

"Yeah and she has an astonishing ability. We doubt there can be more".

He looked at me again. I bowed to him to which he nodded.

"Umm father where is mother?" Izuna asked.
