23. Explanations

Madara POV:

Izuna is alive. He is, my brother really is alive and I am hundred percent sure that it has something to do with Shanaya.

For right now he is laying on the bed in Akasumi's lap right besides Shanaya who hasn't gained consciousness even after an hour.

Apart from us only father, mother knew the truth. Everyone else in the clan was told that he was brought to the compound in time, so he is fine.

It was great that I didn't told anyone about his death or else I would be forced to give them all an explanation.

I can't even tell how much happy I am to see Izuna alive again. I thought, I thought that I had lost him. He closed his eyes right infront of me and for me it was like everything was gone for me. His heart stopped but for me it was like my whole life, my existence has came to a stop. I couldn't even imagine myself without him.

But now it's fine as he is alive and right infront of my eyes. I will never, never ever let something like this to happen again. I will give away my own life but I won't let anything to happen to him.

"Is she going to be okay?" Izuna asked all of a sudden, his eyes were still closed as he continued laying on Akasumi's lap.

" Yeah she will be just fine. She had fainted due to chakra exhaustion, as soon as her chakra will return to it's fullest which seems very slow she will regain her consciousness." I gave him a reply to which he sighed in relief and nodded.

"She will be fine Izuna, she will just be fine. We won't let anything to happen to her. So stop worrying." Akasumi said to him softly. She couldn't even raise her voice ever since the time Izuna got mortally wounded.

"Why don't you just sleep?  You need rest." She said to him again.

"I am hungry." He said making her laugh. It's good to see her laugh. I thought that I will loose that privilege of seeing my sister smiling again but now I am seeing it which made my chest filled with happiness.

"Then you should have just said it." She placed his head carefully on the bed before getting down. "I'll get you food. Nii san you want too."

"No I don't."

"Fine then I won't eat too." She said in a harsh tone walking towards the door.

This girl. "Akasumi"

"I am not eating, that's it, no arguments."

"Ok fine. Bring for me too." She turned around and gave me a huge smile. "Sure why not." She said before taking her leave.

Smiling I shaked my head. This girl, she never changes. 

After eating Izuna and Akasumi went to their room. I am now laying on the bed holding Shanaya in my arms who still hasn't waken up. It is night now and there are still no movements at all.

"Please Shanaya. Please wake up. Or just give me a sign that you are fine." I pleaded.

But there was no response. My heart ached at the sight. I just hope that she is alright.

Closing my eyes I snuggled in her neck inhaling her sweet and intoxicating scent.

"M-Madara" My eyes snapped open at the mention of my name through an angelic voice.

I pulled away to look at her. Her eyes were still closed.

"M-Madara" she mumbled again and I furrowed my brows. Is she talking in her sleep.

"Madara please don't. Please don't fall for darkness." Darkness. What the hell is she mumbling?

"Madara please. I had felt such a dark and chilly aura around you before. It really scared me. I really was afraid of you at that time." I couldn't do anything but to stare down at her. Is she talking about the conversation we had earlier when she came in the after Izuna died.
